Linens looked dingy (but clean!) There was no mini fridge for my waters (an essential when you're walking the city and they heat up so quickly before you get home). The lack of blackout curtains for the street light that was directly outside my window and kept my room lit up all night king

It fit into my budget and was just outside one of the gates. The staff were wonderful to work with.

Rooms very old. V less place to plug in charger for phones and very uncomfortable.

Location is good. But its an old Hotel. Everything is too old. Just 2 place to plug in the charger for mobile phone and too at a very uncomfortable place beneath the bed. Breakfast is OK. Owner is a nice person.

A lot of noise. My room was side by side with the elevator and also with the main street. It was hard to sleep when you got all noise from the street and from the elevator as well.

Very clean, good shower and cool staff members.

The cleanliness could be better. Dust was found in some locations in the room.

The hotel itself is ok. It’s great if you just use your hotel to sleep and take a shower. The location was amazing. The staff was nice and friendly.

Very basic hotel close to Old Town
    • Business trip

Still, overpriced for what you get. Rooms facing the street are very noisy. Ask for rooms facing the backside.

Proximity to Old Town is key advantage. Tram stop "Damascus Gate" and sherut/bus terminal are both some 5min walk away. Compared with most other hotels in East Jerusalem, prices here are "moderate".

    smaller washrooms.

Location and very helpful staff. Centrally located just steps away from Harod’s Gate and Damascuss Gate is nearby. All religious landmarks and places are walking distance. You can go wrong if your main purpose is to stay outside. A bit noisy sometimes at night due to its location. Abu Tariq and another gentleman (Don’t know his name) were very helpful. Old no nonsense hotel. Tea/Coffee is available 24 hrs a day. Considering Jerusalem is expensive, due to it’s very desirable location this one is low cost gem. :-)

The windows face the main street and the window shields are not transparent, meaning the light from the street disturbs you all night long.

Flexible entry and exit, just a few minutes walk from Damascus Gate.
