IndiaI booked the room in this place because it was a nice hotel and not a shady one. I am 25 years old and I vote and work and earn on my own. My partner is 30 and he is a major in the Indian army and he came all the way from Sikkim on a short weekend leave to meet me and this particular hotel refused to give us a room as we were not married. While it is in the law that anyone above 18 can book a property and also live together. Utterly disappointed. My partner drove continuously for 17 hours and we were refused the room and we had to go around and find another hotel which is city residency and wait for an hour for the next hotel to accomodate us in the last minute after all this.

The location is very convenient and it's good value for money. The staff is courteous and helpful. Excellent food at the restaurant. Overall, it's very difficult to fault the hotel.

AustraliaWhere to begin. The biggest problem I had was this hotel seemed to have only smoking rooms!!! My room stank of stale smoke so much that I got a headache within a few hours. I inquired with the staff only to be told that all their rooms are smoking rooms and guests are allowed to smoke in them as much as they want. Imagine this is almost 2023 and a hotel with all smoking rooms and this is not even Las Vegas. Its perhaps because the general population of this state still love big tobacco and doing their bit to keep it afloat. Still a hotel which claims to be a 3 star hotel and having only smoking rooms is a big problem. The reception curiously is not on the Gnd floor (see picture) and is located on the 4th floor where the restaurant is. Never seen a hotel like this before. So to check in you have to go all the way to the 4th floor and then come all the way down again to your room. Now the other issue I had in my room on the 1st floor was the room phone simply didn't work. Every time I picked it up it gave me an engaged tone or couldn't connect me to the reception. Hence It meant trekking up and down to the 4th level every time I had an issue. The next huge issue is the Internet connectivity at this hotel. All my attempts to connect to the hotel WiFi using all my different devices including the phone failed. I would connect to the WiFi but the login page will not come up. This meant another trek to their reception on the 4th floor where the only technical help I received was that their WiFi will only work with mobile phones only if you have turned off your mobile phone's data connectivity off!!! This was another technological marvel for me which I have never encountered before. In fact that is what happened. The hotel staff turned off my mobile data and managed to connect to the WiFi though he stoutly refused to share the login credentials with me.
The only good thing about this hotel is it is quite centrally located next to the biggest mall in Durgapur and lots of shops and restaurants around.
