How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The jacuzzi was not good. The water could be warmer like a hot tub and the jets on jacuzzi could be ten times more powerful. Hotel is more expensive and the price paid you can get a lot more value in terms of facilities.
Staff were absolutely great and they went overboard to make our trip pleasant. The hotel has a private ghat and a small garden and temple in which the maraj can perform any poojas. The breakfast was great, the dinner was really tasty. Room service was good. location is great, peace and quite. Views from the hotel are breath-taking of the mountains and river ganges special mention to Palesh Maithanji, Sandeep Bhattji, Mahadevji and the flute player every evening who played beautifully.

I have observation on safety aspects 1) Bathroom shower area shall be provided with grab handle and non slip mat under the shower particularly for senior citizens it's must 2) Staircase area behind lift area shall be better illuminated and first step shall have warning tape pasted to avoid any mis stepping for visitors using stair case instead of lift. Also if somebody enters from garden side to the lift lobby there is a huge wall mounted shelf from the wall is hitting the head of visitor, it shold be marked with RED TAPE to warn of of hazard of head injury. Hopefully management will take appropriate corrective action which will be visible during my next visit. Thanks

Wifi connectivity was poor. Bathroom cleaniness needs improvements (dustbin were full when we got the rooms). Room service was primarily slow.(30mins turnaround time for any tea orders) Restaurant hygiene needs improvement (restaurant tables were left unclean at night)
Awesome location. Even the delux room had grt view of Ganga river n Mountain backdrop. Amazing view from restaurant. Very approachable from highway, avoiding city traffic. Very tasty veg food. Good breakfast spread as well. Good property with private Ghat to Ganga river. An amazing morning walkway linked to the hotel. Very nice in house temple as well.

Ambience was ok. For the price they charged, the property looks a bit old now.

No place to keep the suitcase...need to check the bath area floor as we had a slip and fall twice. Interiors and colour for small room can be done in lighter shade. Wonderful location.
Excellent breakfast and ambience. Restaurants staff was very good. Can improve on tea and sabudana khichdi.....

A little run down.
Very nice view and location. About 2,5 km walk along the esplanade to main ghat. Service and staff good.

There are glass doors in the hotel corridors. Some stickers on them or other type of indication needed to avoid banging on them unexpectedly.
Very nice breakfast and excellent dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff. They were always ready and prompt to meet our requirements and special requests.

Room has clostophobic feeling. Look like Some oil smell was there. River View was hindered by jaccuzi pool. Window could not be open for fresh air.
Staff very courteous. Location of hotel is right on Ganga river. Temple on site and Aarti, pooja was excellent.

Room's window was just infront of pool/Jacuzzi which was affecting our privacy

While the room was clean and comfortable, it isnt as modern. It is a bit pricey considering this.
Location is fantastic - on the river with a Private Ghat. While the room said partial view, actually the room has quite a decent view of the river, especially during daylight. Breakfast was really good.

The bathroom shower was creating some problems, either getting very hot water or cold water. The mixer was not working properly. Apart from that things were ok.
The location of the hotel is the major USP. The quality of food is ok but can be improved further. The view is excellent

Weekends have a set buffet and the restaurant doesn’t provide ala carte food even on request. The hotel is also little overpriced for the amenities provided.
the location is brilliant , amenities are good, staff was courteous. Interesting spread of toiletries. The hotel provides cycles and has a a good games room for entertainment. It provides shuttle service to and from the tourist destinations and provides booking service for adventure sports and safari which is a major convenience. Lastly, there is a doctor on call as well which is quite helpful.
