The ground floor lobby can get very busy which makes the really great lobby cafe a bit noisy and not a restful tea/coffee destination, but I am not sure anything can be done to fix that. Not a big problem.

Very clean and luxurious room. Fluffy white towels; lovely, friendly staff who go the extra mile and apply personal touches; great food; good location.

The food is exceptional, especially the breakfast. The staff are also incredibly helpful and kind. It was our first time staying in Delhi and we are so glad that we stayed at the Shangri La. Close to everything with great views of the city, it was a very luxurious and comfortable stay. Would definitely return and recommend.

Very comfortable rooms, nicely equipped. Very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. It was very big choice of Fisches from different qieseence of the word. I spent more than an hour at breakfast. The service at breakfast was also perfect.

The pre-authorisation on my credit card was really high, much higher than my actual accommodation cost.

Great hotel. Loved the wide variety of breakfast/meal options,and the super friendly staff. Close to two metro stations. Quiet and comfortable. I’ll be back with the family next year.

The staff are so accommodating and the buffet breakfast is sensational. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and assisted us with lost luggage by Jetstar airlines at a previous airport. The team at Shangri la picked up our bags the following day so that we could continue our touring uninterrupted. What a huge relief that handled this for us and they kept us well informed throughout the process. They arranged our tour guide who was very informative and took the stress out of everything making our first trip to India an absolute pleasure. Beautiful facilities, clean and tidy, everyone was amazing including the spa treatment - rose petals in the bath. They put the wow factor into everything. Concierge was caring and wonderful.. Food delicious 🤤 Loved the bar in the evenings, great music and wonderful cocktails. Excellent views of Delhi throughout including rooms and restaurants.

The credit card policy. I arrived and had to transfer funds onto my credit cards to give to them to use before I could check in to my room. This took a few hours and it was a bit annoying as I was keen to just lie down for a bit and relax before I had to head out for the evening.

Lovely clean comfortable rooms. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The spa was also very good.

The Shanghai-La is a superb hotel with a perfect location (within walking distance to Conought Place). Breakfast is very rich with a very attentive and helpful staff. Gym and wellness is great and very good equipped. All in all *****

We had to pay big taxes which we didn’t know about when we booked it. We felt little bit scammed because of that.

This hotel definitely feels like a 5 star hotel. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, room is great and has awesome view and electric curtains, pool is cold but big and there’s a warm jacuzzi next to it, hotel provides slippers and bathrobes. Breakfast is great and there are many awesome local dishes. Location is also excellent.
