To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomGood hotel location, didn't try the breakfast - hotel needs a proper makeover to modernise it. Room size was huge. Old fittings in the bathroom. I don't think I'd stay there again. I guess more preferable for those used to the old Delhi style. Very small gym, large enough for 3 people at one time.

United KingdomThe fittings and fixtures are a bit shabby chique. There was a musty smell in the bedroom. The alcohol prices are high with hidden extras so care needed.
The service was great. The restaurant staff were especially attentive and helpful. The building is interesting with a strong art deco feeling of old glory. Location is good. Right next to up market Khan Market, and Khan Market metro. A nice evening stroll to Lodhi Gardens.

AustraliaSomehow we were in a room that had no bedside lights. So we either had 'full glare in the eyes' lighting or almost dark. It would have been better if I had requested a bedside light earlier in the stay. Staff kindly brought us an enormous tabletop lamp which did the job but could not be described as a good fit. the room was located behind the elevators so there was a constant sound of the cables moving which I could have done without.
The location for our purposes is superb. The bathrooom was newly renovated and was very nice.
