Wonderful atmosphere and the host was super friendly and helpful. We had takeaway to reheat and he used his personal living quarters microwave and provided silverware, which was all above and beyond.

The staff was very nice and helpful, they suggested us to see the nearby waterfall, which was very lovely. If you stay here we recommend you to try the dinner, the dinner was more than excellent!!! It was a very pleasent stay, with really comfortable beds, really clean room.

Clean and comfortable room with everything you need. The dinner and breakfast buffet were both amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a great variety of items. It’s in a secluded area away from town, so there’s a good chance of seeing the northern lights on a clear night. We arrived after dark and left before sunrise so we didn’t check out farm itself or any other amenities, but it looked like there was a training space for horses right next to the main house. It’s also really close to a beautiful canyon and waterfall. Highly recommend!

Compared to other guesthouses we stayed at in Iceland, dinner was overly priced. Breakfast was nice but again not as good as other similarly priced guesthouses.

Accommodation was clean, well furnished and in a pleasant rural setting.

The place was very remote but easy to find. The food was very good and they had a good breakfast included. Friendly staff. We only stayed one night but it would have been interesting to stay longer. They appeared to have horses and maybe horse shows.

Nothing at all. They say that horse training occurs on site but not happening whilst we were there. But we only stayed one night so no complaints really.

What a gem of a place to stay. The food was good, the lentil curry exceptional and the lamb was great too. Home cooking done well. Very quiet location. The furnishings were a real surprise, sumptuous chairs in the rooms and stylish bed side tables in dark wood. Beds comfortable. Cheapest stop on our tour of Iceland and one of the best

Hot water running out pretty quick, also they do provide dinner (no kitchen or common cooking area) but the cost was too high in my opinion, 6500isk per person not including drink!

Everything was great, and as we expected! No complaints.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ended up getting to the guesthouse pretty late, but the staff was willing to wait for us to check in. Our cabin was cozy and clean. The provided breakfast was just what we needed in the morning, as well. All in all, we truly enjoyed our stay, even though it was brief.

Breakfast was OK. Good stopping point on our way to airport. Restaurant was closed for dinner so we went to Hvammstangi, where we had a very nice dinner overlooking the fyord at the Slavorborg Restaurant. It was what we expected for a guesthouse in the country. Price was a bit high, but everything in Iceland is expensive ... so appropriate comparatively speaking.

Dinner was really good! Delicious breadsticks with hummus, and very tasty lamb. In a scarcely populated area like this, there are probably not many hotels to compete with, so we were surprised at how awesome everything was! There was a football game on, and they let us watch the whole game on the screen in the restaurant, including overtime and penalties. Thanks again! :)
