The food was repetitive and very expensive. Portions were small, drinks were extremely expensive. No entertainment, no music playing anywhere throughout the hotel

Superior room with pool view has poor sound proof and we heard especially at night every sound that should stay private. Not Ure if other rooms have the same problem. Dining experience, I understand staff was very busy but not pleasant experience so we preferred take away at our own pace. Just suggestion _ provide better menu card with explanation so guests can read themselves.

1. Great transfer from Olbia airport to hotel_ additional cost. Easy to book. 2.Beautiful location _ mix of beautiful gardens, pool side and private beach. There is a kids club and kids pool which offers little and big ones great activities. Property access through security gates only. 3. Exceptional welcoming by Staff _ kids surprise with delicious treats and toy. 4. Room _nicely decorated and beautiful views. Very can comfortable sleep. 5. Food_ great selection for breakfast buffet. Lunch option to have nice food at the bar or in restaurant at the beach or in the actual hotel building.Option_ take away. Staff is five star plus. Especially those who were naturally interested in guests Bruno took time to introduce to delicacies of Sardinia, which was so interesting and needed as we came here first time. Patricia and team made sure our room was always clean. Every member of the STAFF was polite and welcoming !!!

The proces at the bars were quite expensive, ok for this kind of hotel but high compared to the oraces outside the hotel. The Gym could be better maintained, it looked a little shabby and we could not find a toilet near the Gym.

What can be improved are the prices. This is indeed an expensive hotel and there are always costs associated with this experience. Nevertheless, it does not make sense to pay for a club sandwich 18 euros and for a cocktail 20 euros - really does not make any sense. Nevertheless, for us, this was not a pain point to not come back to Abi d'Oru. Actually we were looking for next year to come and stay more days :)

Absolutely AMAZING !! Me and my wife visited the hotel in late August and it was absolutely amazing !! The hotel staff are very professional, especially the front staff, and the check-in experience is absolutely comfortable. You get to sit outside on the terrace until all the documents are prepared. Once done, you will get briefing information about the hotel and its amenities. Please do not change this check-in experience - it makes the guest feel special and welcome. I am traveling mainly in 5-star hotels and this experience was one of a kind! The room - is spacious and extremely clean !! The sheets were changed every day during our stay and the bad was made, and just before lunch, the maids would prepare the bed for sleeping - absolutely amazing !! The restaurants - they have a couple of restaurants to choose from - the food was very good. Pro tip: book with half board as this really makes sense and the food is delicious. The pool - is very nice, and clean, lifeguards available during the day. It could stay open more, but this is now standard to close the pool around 19:00-20:00 in most of the hotels, even with an indoor swimming pool. The beach - Unfortunately there is no smoking on the beach - there is a designated corner outside of the beach, but this is not very comfortable. Maybe you can allow a few sunbeds to smoke in the future :) The sunbeds are allocated based on your room type - which for us, was not an issue as they need to do some kind of allocation. Using this method, you would always find available sunbeds. The beach boys were helpful and always wanted to give us row upgrades if possible - we decided to stay in the back as there was almost no one. We could relax :) Airport transfer - get in touch with the hotel for a transfer, which is around 60 euros. This is actually the same price you would pay to a normal cab driver, but the service from the hotel is premium at the same price of the taxis :) We had an S-class in the morning waiting

Everything other than the meals you've booked costs money, and quite a lot, so keep that in mind while booking. For example, the cheapest wine glass costs 12€ and the cheapest bottle costs 50€. Getting into the hotel by transfer or by taxi from Olbia Airport costs around 60€ per ride, so you might want to rent a car. The Gym is hidden in one of the corridors of the rooms. Took us quite a bit of time to find it, after asking 2 staff members for directions. There is no iron in the room nor there is an option to request one. You can, however, request an ironing service that costs at least 5€ per piece of clothing. If you're looking for snorkeling on the private beach, don't bother. While it is clean, quiet, and comfortable, there is little to none marine life there.

A wonderful place to rewind and relax completely. As soon as you enter the hotel they make you feel like a king. The room was nice, big, and clean. The staff was super helpful. The food was really great! Both the breakfast and the dinner. You also have the option to choose one of three restaurants for dinner, 2 of which are included in the half-board package. The private beach was also very great.

I would have liked little playing space for children after 18:00. At this time both the big pool and the children pool are closing, including the outdoor playground and the children club with the indoor playing areas. Also, the sun goes down early and going on the beach is a little chilly/windy end of September (which I love), but I would like a little playground to get my little one tired before dinner

We felt in holiday from the first moment. Very peaceful , friendly , relaxing environment for the entire family. Our 2 years old son loved the children club and the nursery staff. This gave us, parents, some moments to enjoy the restaurants, the beach, the pool, etc The children pool is padded, and in amazing condition, which is a big plus 🤩 We absolutely loved the restaurants. The food was very tasty , creative and well presented. The drinks rather on the expensive end, but you would expect this from a 5 star hotel. We were able to see the sunrise from our garden , having our freshly made complementary illy morning coffee 😍 The concierge, valet service, cleaning service , everyone was very friendly and helpful. Room service very quick (but with 20% room service charge ). Wonderful views everywhere :)

the hotel and the service is very good, but my experience was spoiled by a few problems. First, the air conditioning had a problem during the whole stay. We complained in the lobby and there was no solution. another detail is that a hotel with this price and this service should not have caste divisions on the beach and pool. making the host feel less important than others.

Beach, sunbeds were very cramped together. Drinks service around the pool was slow on one day when main lady had her day off. Problems getting bookings at hotel restaurants. Very over inflated charges throughout. Nearest town Porto Rotondo (which is lovely) was 3.1 miles away, taxi 30Euro each way, hotel shuttle 35Euro each way. Not necessary to charge so much for such a short trip, felt like we were being held to ransom on prices considering trip to and from Olbia airport which was much further was less than 60euros each way. Bottle of local beer 10euros at hotel.

Restaurant service not to the standard expected at this type of hotel. Transfer driver forgot our requested child seats and had to scramble to get them.

A private beach with lifeguards on duty with a beach bar/restaurant and table service, A pool with a bar was well attended and again with lifeguards on duty. Overall very attentive staff in all areas. A first class hotel without any stuffiness. Highly reccommend for families. Only shotcoming was the restaurant service was a bit hit and miss but it was early in their season and only open a couple of weeks. I'm sure it will come together quickly once the season gets going for them. We will be back.

I just thought their reservation system on the beach made by lifeguards was weird. With so many kind employees at the hotel, the lifeguards are responsible for coordinating the umbrellas, and I don't understand. many guests arrive early and are allocated the back of the beach even though most umbrellas are empty. and they don't help much to exchange. it was only at the end that a very kind employee provided an umbrella further ahead, but it was difficult. but the beach is beautiful and so is the bar service. nothing that detracted from the charm of our stay.

The food was in our opinion not 5 star. it has room for improvement. We also would have appreciated more information about the services before arrival. A rental car is definitely recommended.

Staff at the hotel are extremely friendlly and welcoming. Very welcoming and super friendly towards children. We liked the beach and the sea view. The cleanliness is exceptional.

expensive to eat at the hotel if not half board. gym could have been better. we visited in October which is their off season so much of the surrounding area is closed ie Porto rotundo so choice of restaurants was very limited.

location is incredible, has own private beach and pool. welcome drinks and stress free checkin valet parking, tennis and gym facilities, excellent breakfast.
