To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ItalyThe heating facility was poor. The heater was really bad. I wanted a matrimonial bed but the one made available was two single beds joined together. We were not comfortable with it. The size of the room is small.
Good reception, staff were friendly and the service was good, free breakfast at no extra cost. I like the location. I could get anything I wanted within the environment or walking distance. There was also a parking lot for my car.

United KingdomIt is a little far from the city centre. However, buses(No. 33 & 64) and tram (No. 15) are pretty frequent, and it takes a little over 20 minutes so not bad.
The one nice surprise we got is the amazing pizzeria located downstairs! I would highly recommend you pay them a visit when staying at Hotel Adriano.

NetherlandsGood quality and well furnished room. I had lived in many 3-star hotels in Italy, and this one is definitely one of the best. Super friendly staff: I asked the staff(an old man) about the time I may need to walk to flixbus station. Indeed I could follow the googlemap, but amazingly he prepared a sketched map at midnight that indicated the best way approaching the station. It saved my poor Samsung battery a lot. I can feel his earnest attitude to every traveller.
