1. Breakfast was very much slanted towards sweet cakes, which the Italians love, but we don't. However, there was ham and cheese and hard boiled eggs as well, so we didn't do badly. 2. At the week end, when we were there, the hotel is obviously very/too popular with large groups of Italian families or students, who can get noisy and over dominant for a no-longer-young, quiet English couple. That, however, is a testimony to the excellent qualities of Il Melograno.

Very friendly staff and very good food for supper and lunch. Also good house wine.

Spa not included. The location was so close to the city that you didn’t feel like you were in the countryside which is what we were expecting.

Fabulous dinner and breakfast! The pool area was pretty but the lounge furniture was a bit worn out. For the price of the stay, I would think they would include the “spa” area rather than charging such a large amount extra (so we didn’t use).

There were no table for us at the restaurant when we arrived , cause they were having an event/lunch party for no guests, it doesn’t seam to be fair with the guests itself .

We loved the huge and delicious breakfast in the morning, the quality of food prepared at dinner, the shallow pool specific for kids and the pool facilities. We absolutely appreciated the quality of service and dedication offered by the staff. Filippo and Elena in particular but all the staff working the Melograno agriturismo was just great!

Didn’t realise that to use the hot tub you had to prebook and it’s an extra 55euro per couple. We were a bit gutted as this was a reason we chose this place. Not sure it was made clear on booking.com. Maybe this needs some clarity. Walls between rooms were very thin and we could hear everything from the room next door.

Beautiful setting, high up with fantastic views. Staff were efficient. We booked dinner in the restaurant as we weren’t sure if there was anywhere else close to eat. The food was amazing! Clean room, nice and warm, good shower and comfortable bed.

Some of the staff only spoke Italiaan, which Made it hard to communicate sometimes. Nice rooms but our airco started leaking the second night. Thin walls I guess, as there was a lot of noise from the restaurant our last night.

Rooms are super noisy, it's like other guests walk in your room. That's really a nono for me. Breakfast should be better for what they charge. Less cakes, more healthy food, make it part buffet so guests can choose some of the different offerings.
