No staff present at the location we were staying in. Checking in at a different hotel felt strange but not a massive issue. The shower didn't have very good pressure. The room could have benefited from a full length mirror as there was more than enough space for one. The toilet door could have done with some maintenance the handle was a bit loose and the door squeaked very badly meaning you had to leave it open through the night or risk waking the other person if going to the toilet through the night. The grand canal view wasn't exactly as expected so slightly disappointed there. We were positioned right at a drop off point for all the local shops deliveries so its very noisy very early in the morning.

The room size was amazing, it was nice and quiet most of the time and had a very romantic feel to it. It was in a good spot with plenty of restaurants etc nearby.

Bed was two twins put together so there was a crevasse in the middle. Had to check in at a different place a few blocks away. Very difficult to find. Google maps was no help. Window view was a narrow enclosed courtyard with air conditioning units.

Nice clean room with hot pot and fridge. Good communication from the property management. Quiet hotel.

The bathroom was the only part of the room not so comfortable.

Interesting location: the room had a little terrace in front of Canal Grande and from the court it is possible to see Rialto Bridge.

We had to check in at another location a block or so away. The shower in the bathroom is very low and hard to use if you are taller than about 5'6.

It was a nice room for the price we paid and what was currently available since we booked a few nights before we arrived. It was comfortable and spacious. It is not a 5 star resort, but perfectly good for a no frills night in Venice.

The stairs

This accomodation was in an amazing area close to everything. A little jetty and restaurant down stairs. It’s was clean, tidy and had a fabulous balcony to sit out on. If you are not good with stairs and bags it may not be for you but the view is worth it. The pictures are from the balcony.

There is a little smell comming from the toilet, but i guess it is related to Venice sewage. Also it would be better to have a reception for check in at the premises.

The location is great. The room is big and nice. The staff is very helpful. Overall, it is a nice place.

It doesn't look as nice as the pictures, the view of canal was minimal. There is no real staff at site. Went to another hotel 100m away to check in, staff there nice and friendly. Was directed to where we were staying, and I think the cleaning lady let us in, didn't really great us or direct us to our room, just handed us our key.

The location was great, very close to Rialto Bridge Beds were comfortable enough.

Bedroom decor questionable. Health and safety concerns on stairs carpet and broken rods. No staff the full 3 days I was there. No clean towels given. Cleaner never really cleaned. No milk in tea/coffee tray. Mattress was too big for base bed. Not sound proof.

The best thing about the hotel is its location - very close to Rialto Bridge. The room was clean and a reasonable size. Ours was overlookong a canal with gondoliers passing by. Very quiet even though right in the centre. We had to pick up keys at a different location - which is pretty close by, the information was on the door. There's a fridge in the room and air conditioning. Downstairs there's a microwave.

To be considered to improve: - Check in instructions. Why do you get the check in instructions, what you reach the building? Considering the air tempreture in the summer. The check in is 5-7 min by foot, no signs in the building for check in, reception is on the 2.floor upstairs.

Good things are: 1.very good location-10 min to San Marco, 10-15 min to Vaporreto to San Michelle and Murano Island, 2 min to Rialto bridge 2.Quite big and is very old building, not hot during the night and day 3. If you open the window, there you can hear and see the gondolas 4. Clean and comfortable, we were with 2 childern in the 2.floor. Everything was fine

Check in a little bit involved and a faff as it’s 5 minute’s away and there’s not many facilities on site of the actual room. In the end everyone stayed on the staircase while dad went to get the key with all the passports. Would consider this room in this hotel as a bit like a satellite rentable room, a hidden gem. But some might not like lack of on site facilities. It’s right in the heart of all the shops etc if you need anything. We loved it.

It’s absolutely amazing location for the price, as long as you can negotiate the stair case… I’m talking specifically about the quintuple here with the terrace. For a family of 5 perfect after you put the little ones to sleep to have a nice drink while watching the gondolas pass on the grand canal… in the morning you see the fisherman loading up with supplies for local restaurants… even the rubbish boats! Best of all it’s also the exact filming location, just in front for the Bond finale on casino royale when the house falls into the canal, though we only found that out from a gondola ride. Also pretty cool to land on the jetty outside your room directly by water taxi. An indulgence, but quite an entrance!!

There was a very unpleasant smell coming up from the depths into the room in the evening time - that might be more to do with the pressure Venice is under....
