It's a "getting old" hotel, but i loved it. I find it funny imagining the good old hotels as humans. They're not what they used to be, but there is still a lot of pride in their history. The decor is getting outdated, but that's part of their life. The staff is super friendly and i feel they carry that proud feeling of working at Alan's hotel. I really enjoyed it.

The location is pretty bad if you don’t have a car, at least in the summer the 1,5/2km to the centrum to buy any food are awful. Only a few staff members spoke (some) English which was very difficult when cleaning personnel came into my room multiple times although I tried to tell them that I have stuff to do in the room right now. The receptionist at check-in tried to send me to my room multiple times without returning my passport first.

Very nice and clean rooms, the lift was useful, breakfast was absolutely fine for 8€, 24/7 somebody in the house and enough parking spots outside. Close to the airport. AC worked just fine which was necessary at 28°C outside. Ordering pizza at room service worked very fast but note that every time you pay 5,50€ extra! The amount I was not told before!

However, during check-in, the staff attempted to retain the originals of my identification documents, a practice I find unacceptable. Additionally, despite booking a room with breakfast, due to an early departure, we couldn't utilize this service. There was no option to order a lunch box in advance, though we were grateful for the two croissants we were allowed to take in the morning.

The hotel boasted a very comfortable bed, a clean room, and an excellent proximity to the airport, which greatly contributed to the ease and comfort of my stay.

The mattress very soft. If I stayed for more than one night I would have asked to change it. The breakfast was a let down. A more "homemade, fresh, typically Italian " would have been apreciated.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and so were the cats! The hotel was absolutely spotless!

It bothered me that it was very hot in the room and the thermostat was not working to reduce. You hear noise from the adjoining rooms. The location is reminiscent of the red district of Amsterdam.

Reception is too dated and need urgent repair, the first impression when you enter is not positive. Breakfast was too limited, mostly packaged and industrial food, tough they prepare really good coffee for you.

This is a good option if you look for a decent and not too expensive option close to Expo and city center. Staff is really helpful, and overall is a good option, you get what you pay; don´t expect luxury or specific details but you get a good bed, comfy room, no problem to park and a good service .

The hotel was perfect for a short stay. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped.

All the hotel facilities are good and staff are friendly my only comment for people not travelling in car is that is very difficult to reach with public transportation, even taxis are not common in the area.

The neighbourhood isn't that great. If you're coming by car, park it and don't stroll around too much. I don't know how it is during the day, but in the evening, when I was there, it gets a bit creepy (it reminds of Amsterdam's Red District).

The room, the bathroom, the bed... everything was comfortable and clean. The stuff as well - they were friendly and extremely helpful. Add to all that the hotel lobby looks like a piece of art and you'll get the picture. (Italian croissants for breakfast are the unsuspected bonus!)

Literally nothing. Except if your activities are in Bologna city, this location is a bit out of the center but with a bus station in 5 minute walk. For someone who is driving its an excellent location with ample parking space. I guess free as well.

When we make a reservation we thought breakfast was included, but it wasn't. But they gave us a complimentary breakfast. And the breakfast was a wide range of delicious buffet. Served with excellence!
