The location was perfect, the staff were so warm and friendly. They actually went over and beyond to help us when we got lost on the way. The breakfast was superb. I would recommend this to all my friends. I loved the warm charming feeling inside.

    Everything was really great there!

The hotel is very nice in the core of the city center. The stuff was very helpful, they gave us all information we needed in advance (about parking, ZTL, self check-in). We were coming late in the evening so we needed to self check-in, they gave us precise instructions and everything went smooth. The room was nice and cozy (and very quiet also), we had really good night sleep there and felt refreshed in the morning. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of fresh food choices.

Hard to reach by car (but Volterra is complicated anyways, thus it's not surprising)

This place is another proof that you basically can't go wrong in Tuscany. Location is just amazing, in the dead center of Volterra, just a short walk anywhere in town. The room was large and comfy, and breakfast is just delicious. Staff is always smiling and ready to help. I particularly like that they have a room that you can safely leave your stuff if you check out early, and pick up when you leave town. Oh, and they also can point out where you can park for free parking overnight.

Nothing major, just note no elevator is available but the reception staff offered to help guests with their luggage.

Great location, located in one of the main steets in the city centre. Comfy and spacious double room, very clean. Good range of options for breakfast, very home-like.

Really cozy hotel, with a bohemian chic vibe. Amazing position, in the center of the city. The room was of good size and quiet. The staff was incredible, taking contact with us before the arrival to give us advice to where to park, and so many good tips during our staying. Breakfast is amazing, with a great variety and quality.

There really is nothing that I would say was not up to par.

Breakfast was great! The breakfast staff were fantastic and the espresso was perfect. The location was in the center of Voterra "old town". The room was plenty big, more like a suite. Plus the rooftop cafe was very convenient and useful. As hotel guests, the cafe staff were happy to cork our bottle and provide us with a plate and silverware for the wine, cheese, and meats that we bought at the food and wine festival (VolterraGusto 2023).

Perhaps it would be worth enriching the breakfast offerings a bit.

The owners and staff are very friendly. The hotel is located in the center of Volterra, so it is not accessible by car. Parking garage (P1) is very close, and access to the hotel is not difficult. The hotel is arranged in a medieval building, and there are many stairs leading to the upper floors. There is a terrace above the hotel where guests can peacefully enjoy coffee and the view of Volterra's rooftops. The owner is delighted to offer advice about where to purchase excellent local wine at reasonable prices.

Everything!!! The greeting, the staff, the location, the room was beautiful, cozy and clean, bed was very comfortable, room aircon allowed for desired temperature, the whole building, terrace, etc were lovely. Breakfast was everything you need. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The parking is located down a hill which requires a walk up/down a steep staircase. You are allowed to briefly drive into the city walls to drop off luggage, which is a bit scary, as the cobbled stone lanes are narrow, difficult to navigate when full of pedestrians and not clearly marked. I wouldn't advise doing.

The location is literally in the midst of everything. You can open up your windows and look down onto the cobbled streets and see all the cafes and shops bustling with tourists and locals. It was surprisingly quiet at night. The staff was friendly and very helpful with suggestions on things to do.The buffet breakfast is served in a quaint area and had a nice selection of items.
