Stefano and Marco were the best hosts. Absolutely helpful with any issue I had asked them. The location is amazing. Not so far from the center with easy access by car, train, bicycle, etc.

Excellent location outside the walls of Lucca and behind the train station. Easy to to walk into the walled city. HINT: to reach hotel, exit the REAR of the station using the steps or the ramp. Turn right onto the red bicycle and pedestrian track. The street you are on is via Lorenzo Nottolini. It curves to the right, so stay on it for about about 200 meters..The cross and turn right onto via Vincenzo Civitali. I discourage exiting via the front of the station because you will have to carry your luggage up the overpass that crosses over the railroad tracks. The overpass is circled in blue on the photo. Nice room, good AC and TV. Simple breakfast: yogurt, small sandwiches of meat and cheese, fruit, juices, pastries, bread. STEFANO makes the best espresso!

Location was quiet and within 5 minutes walking of train station and also 5 minutes of walls of old city. Host was warm and very friendly, happy to answer questions. I also enjoyed breakfast being served (8am to 10am) at the lodging. Breakfast included cereal, yoghurt pastries, a sandwich and freshly made cappuccino, or expresso coffee.

The railway bridge to cross over to hotel is fairly steep and may be a problem for people with poor mobility but we got used to it.

Owner and other staff were very friendly. Easy to find from Lucca train station. We were pleased to be upgraded to larger room for same price. Large bathroom. Nice breakfast provided with fruit, croissants, pastries etc. 5 minute walk to walled old town which is a delight to walk around and explore.

Short walk to the railway statiion and to Lucca historic centre. Calm. Very pleasant and spotless room. Very good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Everything was perfect

The hosts were super friendly. The location was close to the walls and the train station but very quiet at night. The bed was super comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. Lucca was a beautiful place to Visit for the weekend. Finally, the breakfast was excellent. I would 100% recommend to someone to stay at this hotel

The Albergo was a fabulous place to explore Lucca. Very welcoming staff, with lots of information on the area, attractions and restaurants. Lovely hotel, with great mini bar and breakfast.

Beautiful little hotel. Immaculately clean. Quiet at night and in perfect location near to train station and bars, restaurants. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Hotel host lovely, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Helpful with advising on places to visit. Would definitely stay here again. Mini bar brilliant, well stocked everyday and great prices. We loved pur stay here ❤️

You get what you pay for. And for what I payed, they exceeded my expectations on every front. It isn't high luxury, but I was exceptionally comfortable and well cared for.

Stephano, the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us lots of recommendations, and travel advice.. He even arranged another night in Lucca, when we wanted to stay longer and there was no further capacity.

The location was ideal: a very short walk from the train station and from the city's historic heart, so an ideal base for day-trips and for visiting Lucca. Breakfast was abundant and varied, with different options for freshly made coffee. The room was surprisingly spacious with a high ceiling and, important for this traveller, cool given the perfectly functioning air conditioning.

Stefano is a wonderful host. Very friendly and welcoming, gave us lots of helpful information. And he even created a funnel out of a water bottle so we could put oil in our scooter. Amazing! 😊
