Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandA satisfying breakfast keeps you full half the day. Dinners prepared by Tiberio and his family were fantastic, with something new every evening. I particularly enjoyed the fish dishes due to the proximity to the sea. Additionally, the dinners and wine were reasonably priced, with a typical dinner (including a first dish, second dish, and dessert) costing around 22 euros, with wine and water billed separately but still affordable. These dinners at the villa provided a great opportunity for socializing and making new friends among fellow guests. It felt more like a summer camp with friends than a hotel. The beach, a short walk away, was the best I've seen on the island. The pool was warm, as it used water from hot natural springs, allowing for extended relaxation. The rooms were cleaned daily. Tiberio even arranged a delightful concert with a musician, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere. The small village of Succhivo, where the villa is situated, was wonderfully uncrowded, making me feel like I was in the heart of Italy, far from the noise and bustle of civilization, and able to enjoy a peaceful rest. There were a few bars and restaurants within walking distance, staffed by very friendly individuals.

GermanyMy daughter would say that she couldn‘t use her floating unicorn in the thermal pool
Family-run property with a lot of charme. On the second morning we greeted everyone by name. The pool is fantastic, although potentially too warm sometimes. We liked the custom-made breakfast, which also meant less food waste, and the dinner was delicious

United KingdomUnfortunately, the breakfast was repetitive with some strange combinations on offer. It was quite bland and was orientated to the tastes of the majority German Guests.
The pool was an exceptional natural thermal mineral pool with a very high level of cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and our room's terrace had a wonderful sea view. The cleaning and housekeeping staff were very efficient and non intrusive.

Excellent and I was given all the gluten free products I needed.

United KingdomOnly down side was internet which, at least in the separate garden annex where we stayed, was patchy and intermittent.
We had a great time at Villa Mario. Super star host Tiberio makes it all happen, from taxi pick up at the port to scooter rental at the hotel. The location is great, about 5 mins walk to the nearest beach and about 15 to the town of Sant Angelo. Good dinners and breakfast are on offer. Excellent daily cleaning service. Quiet, no stress accommodations. Our room had access to a balcony/deck overlooking the sea outfitted with a table, chairs and a drying rack. The common area in the pool is nice and has many comfortable loungers. Tiberio also arranges very good boat tours of the island which are definitely recommended.

NorwayIt's far away from the rest of the island. If you can't drive moped, then you need to take the bus all the time. It's near Sant Angelo, but I won't recommend to eat there because it's way too expensive. They say it near the beach (200m), but they don't mention you need to go downhill to get to the beach, I mean serious climbing down from the rocky hill, not road, and climb up again. If your physical is not good, the climbing is very unmotivating. The view is sure good, but if you want to swim on the sea, this place is not for you. The food is quite basic and boring: egg, yogurt, jam, croissant.
The place was quite, there is a little pool
