Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There wasn’t anyone on the desk much, and the responces over messages for information on accessing the property were not responded to
Very nice location, as hard to find at first as the streets are like a maze but it’s very obvious when you get to the door! And the bed was exceptionally comfy along with the nice modern feel to the inside

The internet in the room was extremely slow. Apart from that, there are no negative comments.
Everything was super. Comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful.

No tea packs were provided and the coffee machine was not working properly. So had to bare out the night without a coffee. Far from the station or bus station. But 7mins walking from boat stop. No staff for any quick request
Clean and cozy room with nice interior. Spacious given that it is in Venice. Rrsponsive through whatspp and helping with checkin.

The bathroom had a strange smell after the first day. There is also little room for your luggage, but it is no problem if you travel light.
Perfect location. Friendly staff ready to help you and provide you with a map of things to see in Venice. Hotel is recently renovated. There is a place to leave your luggage after check-out for as long as you want.

The only complain we have is the comfort of the beds. It was a bit lumpy. That’s the only thing.
We loved that it was so close to everything. We hadn’t realized the famous stairs were in the street behind us too!

The room was on the ground floor. Also maybe because it was low season, the lobby was used like a storage space. I believe this was temporary though

Flowing water due to problems with the flash button in the bathroom, only one side of the bed has bedside tabble
Perfect location in the city centre, the hotel is really stylish and fresh by facilities. Only one thing was not so good the flushing button in our bathroom didn’t work well and the water was flowing the whole time.

The walls were like "papers". I could hear what others in another room or on the lobby said.
Free toiletries (shampoo,..), free bottles of water. The location is very near by attractions.

Air-conditioning didn't work.
Airconditioning didn't work. Windows opened but the screens were torn and the mosquitoes got into the room. Very basic room. Well located. Good price for Venice. Staff were lovely.

The wifi did not work in our room. I was told that it should work, but it clearly was an issue of distance as the wifi worked on the lower floors, but not on the top floor in our room in the back.
The location is very close to St Marks square and right in the middle of town. It quite close to a lot of the branded shops, which I personally find to be less interesting in the area. However, you are definitely right in the middle of things. That being said our room was still very quite in the evening and in the morning. Coffee machine in the room is always a plus.

The room was extremely small. I had trouble getting out of the bed due to lack of space. The bathroom shower is very small and had a bit of mold. The pillows were extremely hard and the bed too low for an older lady like myself.
