Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite spacious. There was a fridge in the room which sold drinks which were reasonably priced. Breakfast was nice too. Furthermore we were able to leave our luggage in the accommodation after checking out.

Overall we enjoyed everything about our stay here. It was close to Florence centre and train station, easy access from airport, staff was lovely, coffee was delicious, room was quaint. Would definitely recommend!

There isn't really any space to store your luggage in if you check out but still want to roam the city for a bit before departing. However, the building where the B&B is is pretty safe and the B&B itself has good locks, so I was okay leaving my backpack in the corridor for a couple of hours.
One of the most cozy and friendly stays I've been to! Gaia and Simone were incredible hosts, provided us with instructions how to get to the property and various recommendations for food and sightseeing! In the room, the part I will remember the most are the beds - those memory mattresses were a godsend! Will definitely consider staying with Gaia and Simone if I ever travel through Florence again :)

Not overly spacious room. Balcony was nice to have but is right on a main road.
Really informative and friendly staff. Easy check in and comfortable room. Felt straightforward and thought out.

The only negative comment is that the shower was quite small, but everything else was fantastic.
Secure and clean. Great location near a tram stop and friendly hosts. It was great to have breakfast included, and having breakfast provided in our room for early morning starts. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Easy and clear check in and check out process.

No comment, I liked everything
Location ,1 km on foot to the cathedral and center. Very clean, excellent breakfast. The hosts were very nice, helpful. I was contacted a day before arriving, they explained how to get there, how to enter the apt. etc.

The walls are paper thin and we had very noisy neighbors who were up till 2 am. Wish there was a noise policy or something.
It was a lovely space with great staff. Would stay again.

There were no cats in Florence
This is excatly what I wanted. Slightly out of the centre, and quiet. Its VERY close to the airport ( just one easy tram ride away) The bed was so comfortable, I did not want to leave it. So most days, I didn't. In fact, the only thing " wrong" with Antiche is there should be a Do Not Disturb sign , so I can sleep all day and just relax before I go back to chaotic London. The double glazing and blackout blinds were just maginificent The breakfast is just fine. Eggs, bread , pastries, yoghurt. Cereal and so on. Dear Allessanda makes the coffee and was happy to do so. Id stay here again should I ever return to Florence in my life.

There is a bit of a problem with the insulation,possibly this good looking door to the room but when a mother with a crying baby does her pizza order in the hallway it’s simply horrible
Super friendly,very clean,good sized bedroom with some storage and a small well lighted bathroom with a shower and lots of hot water, nice breakfast something for everybody and I even got a breakfast for the day I left very early at 5am

Bed could be more comfortable. When we were in the middle of the bed, the mattresses moved apart from each other and we ended up in a hole between them with my partner. Anyway, it was not the end of the world :)
It was easy to get to the city by tram, which runs quite often, but we mostly walked to the center, which takes about 15 minutes.

Not much going on in the immediate vicinity of the b&b.
Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast room well situated. Early breakfast in room for early departure. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Just 2 tram stops from centre.

Comfortable 4 poster bed, spacious room, great shower, toiletries , kettle... super important! Iron and ironing board, stylish reception area. Friendly staff. Decent continental breakfast. Tram across the road goes to the train station so easy to use. Close enough to walk into the city.
