Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Breakfast was very basic and help yourself
The location is very good and easy access to restaurants, bus, and train. Parking is in the street nearby.

Slightly out of old town but only a 10-15 minute walk away and it was a good location for buses.
Pick up from the airport was great. Room was very quiet as the other rooms were empty.

Paolo, the host was excellent, going out of his way to assist us at all times. His information about Olbia was great, providing us with lots of options to move around the city.

one little detail: when arriving you need to call the owner which can be difficult if you have some trouble with your smartphone (therefore i needed to wait some time outside the apartment)
very clean and comfortable room, the owner is also very nice and friendly and the AC was working very well! Close to city center but not loud at all, I would recommend it!

The room felt a bit like a cave because you couldn't really open the curtains. As I was using it only to sleep that wasn't a problem.
Great location with an easy walk into the tourist area but also good places to eat or have coffee on the doorstep. It wasn't the quietest but, for the area, it was fine. The guy who handed over the keys etc was really nice and friendly. He gave the choice of two rooms and both were fine but one was en suite and the other not so I chose the en suite. You could eat as much as you wanted for breakfast and there are facilities for basic cooking. The coffee maker is excellent.

Very high price for what was offered (I never paid so much for a one night stay in a B&B). Shabby neighbourhood near bus terminal, with a lot of street vendors, even some people sleeping on the street. Rather noisy inside. You hear all other guests. Only cash payments accepted.
The B&B is situated close to the (new) railway station. Clean bathroom and good air conditioning.

Nothing, for the price paid was absolutely more than enough.
The B&B is essential, clean and tidy. Room was normal size with ensuite bathroom. Bed very comfortable. The owner was absolutely welcoming and friendly since the first meet at the airport. He came to the airport at 10.20 pm for the pick up and explained us everything about Olbia. This service was free and I really felt guilty as our flight was delayed. He suggested some restaurants where to eat late in the evening as we landed with a huge delay. Location is very good, 10 mins walk from the centre. Coffee and breakfast offered too, which is really appreciated. Very good value for money overall. I suggest this B&B to anyone visiting Olbia and doesn't need a luxurious hotel.

check that you book a room with private bathroom inside the room. As we arrived late they gave our room to another guests. They adjusted the price but the toilet is on the other side of the corridor. Strange smell in the towels.
the location is close to the center and with places for parking. good breakfast. bedroom is confortable and clean.

Breakfast was pre-packed due to Covid regulations. First the room was too cold but the owner turned up the heater quickly.
The owner did everything to make you feel comfortable. Big room. Very clean.

There is a common kitchen but you are not allowed to use the cooker to prepare your meals (e.g. to boil eggs).
Very good location - quiet street but very close to the city center. Good wifi, very nice owner.
