These things weren't clearly mentioned in the description: 1. we had to park our car outside of the city and walk to get to it 2. the stairs going up to the apartment were very tough/extremely steep on my elderly mother 3. breakfast location was only outside and it was freezing, rainy & windy on one of the days we were there. There was no protection from the weather and it was uncomfortable. Also, there was another set of extremely steep stairs at breakfast to go up.

The hotel owner was very helpful, smiling and always nice to everyone. The rooms are very clean and cleaned during your stay. Perfect location - right next to the old town and the sea. Delicious breakfasts served on a beautiful terrace. I highly recommend it! We are already thinking about returning.

Not well ventilated

Convenient to all amenities. The breakfast was provided at a central location, for accommodation at various other locations, excellent choice, as much as you could want, served on a very lovely terrace.

Carpe Diem B&B apartment was a good surprise that make us feel that Monopoli was the right place to accommodate ourselves. Location is situates on a small square that is animated by a popular terrace and we had our own "private yard" where we could have a drink and spend some time outside if we didn´t choose to do this on one of the restaurant that is surrounded the apartment. Cesar (the quest) and his colleagues were more than some quest, were the friends you need in a city that you come for the first time. PS: If you are a vine lover, chat with Cesar, he has some local product that we really enjoyed! Thank you, Carpe Diem and see you soon :)

We loved everything!

Cozy apartment, well equipped. There is a shared roof terrace with furniture if you need outdoor space. 3 min walk to the breakfast place and the town beach. Amazing breakfast on the terrace, every day different food. Very friendly and helpful host! Thank you Cesare, we had such a lovely time!

Monopoli is so beautiful and so was our perfect apartment there at Carpe Diem B&B. The host and his team were extremely friendly, helpful and generous and the location was perfect. we could hear the waves at night from our room! My favourite part had to be the rooftop terrace with a shower... such a treat after a long swim in the stunning crystal blue sea. Don't hesitate to book this property!

Didn't bother us at all but it is central and can be a bit noisy until late.

Really friendly helpful host, central location. Host has multiple properties in the vicinity and breakfast is served on the roof terrace of one. Lovely freshly prepared breakfast, better than most we had in similar properties which were prepacked.

The only negative if we can call it that is the amount of stairs you have to go up at the end of each day . But the view from the apartment and terrace is just awesome and worth it.❤️

The croissants and cakes were amazing, had a nice variety of jams, and we were served something different every morning. Coffee was excellent and so was the service. THE VIEW 😍 and great location in the old center.

You have to park your car outside the historic city and parking is confusing tue do the different parking rules. We parked our car outside the town on a free parking app. 15 min walk.

Carpe Diem is a small but cosy and comfortable appartement on the ground floor in the historic part of Monopoli. It is situated on a very tiny square with other houses in the middle of a street. On the opposite there is a church wich is been restuarated. All the shops and restaurants are nearby. For the good beaches you have to take the car (app. 15 - 30 min). The staff is very helpfull and friendly.

There’s nothing not to like :) To note there is a few stairs incase people have mobility issues but that was no issue for us.

Ideal location, walkable distance to the beach and many beautiful eateries. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. Comfortable beds, clean apartment with private terrace!

The location is amazing if you want to walk everywhere, but it is quite loud at night. My room was across from a wine bar and it was especially loud on the weekend. If you are a light sleeper, just keep that in mind.

Everyone was so nice! I immediately felt right at home and comfortable which for me is extra important as a solo traveler. The breakfast was lovely and had an amazing view. The room was clean and had everything you could possibly need.

Amazing location. Right in the historical centre . Close to bars, restaurants and the sea. The terrace was a perfect space for drinks at sunset or watching a thunderstorm! Extremely clean and comfortable with a nice big bed. Cesare was a very welcoming and friendly host. Breakfast was delicious.

Steep steps leading to the property might be an issue for some...

We stayed for six nights in the 'two-bedroom house - separate building'. It was a lovely, and characterful, property with several large windows, a huge roof terrace, all the expected facilities, and a cracking location: close to the sea, two minutes from all the action, but quiet. The property manager was very helpful indeed, making our stay easier by, for example, responding promptly to requests, providing local information, and helping with our 'challenging' baggage logistics! There was a comprehensive clean after three nights.
