Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bed mattresses could be better.
Location of the hotel is really good, with ski lifts, city centre and restaurants 5 minutes away. Alternatively, you have a bus stop 1 minute away from the hotel that can get you to all the other areas of the resort. Breakfast was really nice, overall it was a great experience.

Dinner was very bad - tables are nice set, but the food was worse then in the hospital. No taste, it didnt look made with love, we had 3 different startes - all were really bad. The main course chicken was ok, but Schnitzel was just joke, applestrudel cold, to be honest - I invited my family to join me for the dinner and it was very big mistake. The best was the chardonnay and our good vibes. Very sad… I can recommand you - dont take the half board and go out for dinner. Breakfast was better then dinner, but no big deal.
Staff was very friendly and very helpful, thank you for that. Room was nice and l had beautiful view from the room. Room was very clean.

only negative was the short bed duvets, I’m tall and have long limbs so would have preferred a bigger duvet. This is just a minor detail, was happy with everything else

Staff got very inquisitive when my parents (in their 70s) came over to visit my son and I. I am sure there are some covid protocols for hotels to follow, but this treatment was way over the top.
Rooms were recently remodeled and both functional and good looking Very clean Breakfast was great, although the juices were not

Friendly and helpful service. Perfect location, next to a ski bus stop and within a walking distance to restaurants and shops. Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. It's very worm in rooms at night. Great ski room with boot dryers inside lockers.

Eggs, bacon and pancakes for the whole week. Nothing changed. It appears to be that tables are pre-reserved for guests without notice, thus you may be asked to take other table. No fridge in the room. Room interior was not the one pictured while booking. Not much spaceious room. No appropriate litter bin. Towel was not changed for the whole week. Beds are narrow and a little uncomfortable.
Cleanliness, design of the lobby/restaurant and location.

Breakfast was poor, choice of two: omelet and bacon stripes - omelet had strange taste of chlorine or something, this was every morning so it's not a one day bad cooking, Bacon - was very dry and overcooked some mornings. Room was very small hardly fits two single beds.
Nice clean hotel, very good and tasty Dinners .

firm beds
We were here on an eunduro bike trip to the parks and surrounding mountains. Usually we dont buy breakfast and dinner with our accommodation since its either not available or overpriced. At Bernina the price for both was almost too good to be true with us fearing it wont be that great hence. We coulndnt have been more wrong. Three course dinner as usual for italy with superb foods every evening for 4 nights - Pizzochieri were great, as was the fish and all steaks, stews ans soups. You order a day ahead and they prepare it for you. Breakfast was a little less great with having the same choice every morning, but there was plenty to go for - croissants, pancakes, cakes, sweat bread with jams, yogurts, butter, corn flakes etc. or the salty choices with bread rolls cheeses, ham and salami togethe with eggs and bacon. What was amazing is how the staff took care of my lactose and gluten intolerant fiancee with always bringing fresh bread and doing their best to find the best dinner options for her. So food wise we couldnt be happier. In terms of the rooms, lets say its nothing to complain about as its a very old building that is renocated to a decent standard. Its not amazing, but aside of a bit too firm beds it was comfortable and quiet for our bike trip here. The staff was extremely friendly, spoke well above average english for what we are used in Italy and overall we couldnt be happier. Parking our bokes in the secure bike room and car in the parking lot was awesome. Location was also very convenient only a few minutes to the centre or per bike to Mottolino and Carousello. Overall very glad we stayed here and will most probably return soon. Thanks
