Very loud banging noises every night at 3am, no idea who or what it was. The staff were very good and spoke to the hotel above us, but there is not much more they could do. The people above us moved out during our stay, but the banging remained, so it must travel through the walls from another area. Not the hotel's fault at all, but if you are light sleeper, it will affect you. They did give us an unprompted small discount for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.

Large room, comfortable beds,. Clean and well-stocked. Room was serviced daily, plenty of towels (decent size and thickness as well). Free coffee from a machine in the reception was nice. Air con went on the fritz one night but was promptly fixed the next day. Handy to have a shop across the road, and easily walkable (5 mins) to the Duomo etc. We were given a discount card for a local restaurant, which we used on our first night, and had a great meal. Also had breakfast coupons for free croissants at a local cafe, but we didn't use them as we are not breakfast people.

These are minor things, area for getting hair and make up could have been better. No English speaking channels on tv. Shower occasionally would get weak but this is normal in a lot of places.

The property is in a great location, the room was clean and secure. The room itself was more than adequate it was a good size as was the shower/toilet. The a/c worked like a dream.

The pillows were a bit small, but once I mentioned it to the staff they gave me another one with no issues. We had to buy gel in a local supermarket cause the provided one was very little, but it wasn’t a big deal. We were woken up by a noisy construction work happening right outside of the hotel, but otherwise you couldn’t hear much from the outside so not the hotel’s fault.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The location is great, 10 min walking from everywhere. The room was quite big. They had an offer with a local cafe to have a bit cheaper breakfast, 4€ for 2 pastries and a hot drink. They also provide coffees in the morning. The room had air conditioning just in case it got too hot. They cleaned the bins and made the bed daily

It was hot! I do wish we had a fan or something in the room. It was a bit uncomfortable. I did not notice there wasn't air conditioning when I booked the room, but that's on me.

The location was perfect. We wanted something that felt a little more local and away from the city center, but walkable. It was just across from our dinner spot. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Loved the room....modern and comfortable. Very affordable.

Marco was the best host i had in Italy, completing the "package" of a memorable stay in Florence. The room was clean and comfortable, the morning coffe -perfect, the location- as close as you would want it to attractions without becoming too crowded or noisy at night. We walked mostly everywhere, and will stay there again next time in Florence. Thank you again to Marco and his team!!

Would have made it easier to find if there was a sign outside the building that the Guest house is in (or if it said to look out for the sign of the hotel in the same building) but a quick phonecall soon resolved it.

The location could not have been better, this was the absolute perfect hotel! It was in an excellent area within walking distance of everything, and it was a very safe hotel for two college aged students. Marco at the front desk was amazing, he told us where to go and what sites to not miss. Marco is awesome! The room was big for Europe, the bathroom was great and shower was huge! If we go back to Florence we will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Blu Notte!!
