we arrived w car and parking was not free which is ok but they wanted to have our key for the car which was strange as literally they were only few more people so the parking was almost empty and we did not see a reason for leaving our car key w our personal things in it. anyway otherwise all good

Jacuzzi not operational, extra charges for using the hotel car park. Ordered coffee upon arrival, after a very long journey, were shown into a dark, cold lounge, looked like the dust sheets had only just been lifted.. No bar, no dinner facility. Adequate but wouldn’t recommend..

We hadn’t realised that the hotel didn’t have a restaurant. However, there were many bars and restaurants a few minutes away in the town. This was actually a better option in the event, as we got to see more of the town of Rapallo with its many facilities.

Room was large and well appointed. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was very elegant.

Loved that it was in a quiet area just a little bit out from the town centre but only 5/7mins into everything. The staff where so helpful with any questions we had. Would visit again.

Large room, high ceiling, quiet, parking in the hotel, friendly staff, plentiful buffet breakfast outside on a terrace. Interesting 1920s building. Walking distance from central Rapallo. Would stay again.

No coffee in room, no water in room only mini bar and that was €3.50 for a small bottle. A bottle of water for people arriving after a long journey doesn’t really cost anything.

It had a lift and easy access from car park, bed and shower was good, breakfast was good.

The breakfast was excellent. we had a balcony room that had a view of the water, it was charming and clean. We used the hot tub daily, which is one of the reasons we chose this property. Francesca, is a huge asset to the hotel. She was knowledgeable, helpful and so friendly! The parking was a bonus, however at an additional fee.

We booked our stay at Hotel Canali at the very last minute and were very satisfied with our experience! The hotel is housed in a beautiful old villa, and the premises are very charming. The buffet breakfast was also very good, with a wide selection, and you can enjoy it outside on the terrace, with a pretty view of the surrounding houses and hills! The hotel staff were also very kind, and extremely helpful, providing us a lot of good information and tips for sight-seeing, where to eat, etc. Overall, a very good choice for accommodation in Rapallo (although I felt the charge may be slightly overpriced considering the location & facilities, but not surprising considering the area is not the cheapest one).

Very nice lady at the reception desk, she was most helpful in making recommandations for restaurants and handling reservations for us. Location is very convenient, just a 3 minutes drive from the center of Rapallo. It is also easily accessible walking during the day, less so at night. Parking is convenient.
