The hotel is very close to station. Even it is in renovation , the stuff was very friendly and kind. The room was very clean and it was very nice feeling to smell soap everytime you enter the room. Thank you very much for your hospitaly. Surely stay again here.

Absolutely lovely people run this hotel! This is my second stay and I will come back again when I can - it feels more like a home than a hotel, very dog-friendly, comfortable and clean, the garden is a jewel, and convenient location to walk from the train station while still not being in the immediate area of the station. Easy to find due to proximity to the Casino. Check in out of hours was easy - clear directions given by text. Immediately makes you feel like you've arrived and are ready for the best experience in Venice. They also kindly kept my luggage safe for me the day of my departure so that my dog and I could explore. Grazie mille from me and Carbón, we hope to see you again!

I would have liked to have a pot in the room, even if it was small. Also, since the room was facing the street, I could hear the occasional person walking by and the sound of carrying cases and talking, but late at night it was quiet.

I stayed three nights alone. The hotel has a small river running in front of it, which makes you feel strongly that you are staying in Venice. It is also very close to the vaporetto stop, which was perfect during my stay. It was a little cold but there were blankets in the shelves so I were able to take them out and use them. And the owners are very friendly. He explained slowly and carefully to me, whose English is not my strong point. During my stay I went back to my room to get my luggage and it was being cleaned. So when I left the room to come back again, the owner followed me to let me know it was ok to enter the room. Even after I checked out, he helped me move my carry-on case as I passed the bridge in front of the hotel.

Not much to say here, except for the morning noise mentioned above, and the walls could use some upgrade in a local style to fit the venetian styled furniture. But we're very happy with our stay.

It's a good room in Cannaregio along a calm canal, so you're well located but still with minimal noise which was important for us. That said you do hear the neighbors' doors and luggage in the morning. Given there is a long corridor directly behind the room's door, installing a second door could do marvels against this type of noise! The personnel are very helpful and responsive, and the little patio is absolutely beautiful. The furniture brings a nice venetian style and the bathroom is very clean.

The people there were always friendly, the food was really good and even after we already checked out we could store our luggage there and when we returned we could stay for a bit until we went to the trainstation. We would always book this again :)

Nothing not to like

Our stay at Casa Del Melograno could not have been better. First, the neighborhood is amazing. Close to the center but very quiet. Second, the garden is beautiful and we used it often. It was like a dream. And last but not least the people: Stella's welcoming was outstanding. She made us feel so welcome. It felt like she was inviting us to her house. Every morning (even though we did not opt for breakfast), she offered us coffee, tea, water... And always with a smile. Without a doubt, if I come back to Venice, it will be to Casa Del Melograno!

Location was a little far away from the spots/activities I had booked, so I was rushing back and forth a bit - but this wouldn’t be so much an issue for a more leisurely trip - I made the mistake being too ambitious with my schedule! Bed was a little creaky, but just a minor thing.

Beautiful little boutique hotel on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle, but still just 2 minutes away from a main street with restaurants and shops and a water taxi stop. Room was bright, comfortable and clean. Simon, the host, was so lovely and helpful and went out of his way to make me feel at home with complimentary coffee and cake from checkin, and went above and beyond to answer any questions I had and made sure I had everything I needed.

No one was there to let me in when I arrived. Had to wait with another guest until they were able to open the door. Otherwise, it was exactly as described and in photos. Great location and close to the Wild West walking corridor. Great garden outside for breakfast, although I ate at a local cafe.

it’s a bit difficult to locate but the owner was on the phone to us at almost midnight when we arrived and patiently let us know how to get into our room, bless him! best to arrive in the day time during official check in times

it’s a great place, didn’t get to meet the owner in person as we were mostly outdoors but the staff we met were very courteous and nice, knew when to come in to clean without disturbing us and leaving our things as we left them. no theft either cos I was a bit careless with cash around the room and always returned to meet them intact after they’d cleaned. 100% recommend!

The Location was awesome, very clean and cute garden. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us by giving us local recommendations and allowing an earlier check out. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend to travelers who like to be able to reach everything by walking.

The only downside is the extremely thin walls; in the first moment after waking up, I thought someone was packing right in my room rather than in the room next to me 😅 But that's nothing earplugs can't fix.

Perfect location for exploring Venezia, very nice staff, later check-in was not a problem, the cleanliness was better than many of the four-star hotels I stayed in. The garden is a great bonus after a whole day's walking. Over all it was great experience and I will definitely stay there again.
