Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThere was no iron in the room, although it was listed in the description. Also poor sound insulation. The man in the next room vomited and we heard everything.
The location is great, very close to the train station and good places to have lunch or dinner. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had a problem with the safe but the receptionist helped me solve it. The room is small but clean. The bed and shower were ok.

United States of AmericaEverything! We had taken the wrong train and ended up in Milan (after a last minute connection); instead of our originally planned stop. While searching online; we stumbled upon this hidden gem through Booking. The property staff was very accommodating at not only did they take our last minute reservation but also converted our bed from twins to a Queen. Please make sure to request ahead of time. Our room was on the third floor; room 10. The room was quiet and the facilities were spotless. The private bathroom and shower were very spacious. If you have back problems; this bed will be very helpful at providing back support. The room also has a small balcony with view to their beautiful and well kept garden were you can smell the Jasmine, enjoy their lemon and orange trees, along at the fragrance of their garden roses. . The location was a short walk from the train station. Less than a 10 minute walk. There are restaurants nearby. They recommended a Mediterranean one which was both reasonable, tasty, with great service and good portions. To get to this restaurant you basically turn right (as you face the street from the hotel’s front gate); then right again and left. An Italian seafood Heaven. The property’s breakfast was a feast and more than reasonable for the price! All delicious and fresh! There is a coffee station with a barista. He was very pleasant and the coffee delicious! We highly recommend! Note: We didn’t see an elevator so if you need assistance walking or have knee issues; we suggest calling ahead of booking to see if one of the first floor rooms is available.

United KingdomA kettle in the room to be able to make tea and coffee would have been very welcome. No fridge either to keep water in. Room was rather small but we were only there for one night so not a great problem. Quite an expensive one night stay, but seems all hotels in Milan are expensive
Good location, close to the train station and a 10 minute walk to the metro, four stops to the centre of Milan. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was clean and comfortable if a bit on the small side. Good shower, nice toiletries provided. Breakfast was good value, plenty of choice and well stocked. Coffee made to order if you wanted cappuccino etc.

RomaniaBreakfast was poor (only boiled eggs, some prosciutto, bread, butter, jam and some pastries) no vegetables and some fruits that were not very fresh. We left early in the morning for Como and not even the patisseries were open at that time, so we got some food from the train station. So this aspect should be taken into account. It’s cheaper to buy breakfast instead of paying a room with breakfast included.
The room was clean and the location of the hotel ( near Milan Central station) italso the staff was very kind and polite.

United KingdomThe main light in our room flickered constantly so maybe there is an electrical fault? Maybe lack of a people lift prevents this place having a higher rating?
It was spotlessly clean, close enough to walk from the international train station. It was half an hour’s walk to city centre or a tram ride. The property is quiet and has a lovely garden but we were not there long enough to use it. There is a luggage lift

RomaniaThe property is perfectly located near the Central Station, it has a lovely garden in the background, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. If there is a place I would love to go back to, this is it. It is not just a hotel, it is a charming boutique one and people will make sure that you feel like home. The breakfast was varied, fresh and delicious. A smiling lady will always ask you what kind of coffee you want and the lovely lady from the check-in desk will always help you out and answer your questions. I absolutely loved it!
