we wished we could have stay longer!

The place is even more beautiful than the photos! Gabriele and Irene were incredible hosts, they gave us amazing recommendations on things to do in the area and were always around to help. We loved Irene’s freshly baked cakes every day! The walks are beautiful (particularly when joined by their dog Mia) and so much history in the area. The beds are so comfy and the flat has everything you need if you don’t want to leave - but equally lovely restaurants in the local area that were recommended by Gabriele!

It's a steep and narrow climb with the car - not a problem and that's what it is if you are looking for a view. You just need to know.

The nearest grocery store is a bus ride away.

The host was amazing. There was a land slide that blocked our path to get to the location by bus. The host kindly picked us up instead. The breakfast was delicious and had a great atmosphere. The location is also amazing, there is an entrance to hiking trails right at the back of the property that are that are good and, even more important, empty; compared to the trails across the valley which are much more popular.

Our family loved our stay. The junior suite was perfect for our family of four. We spent the day lounging at the pool and playing with the dogs and cats. The hosts were so nice and the breakfast was the best we had in Italy. Highly recommend!

Gabrielle & his family (and pets :) were the BEST hosts! Truly the epitome of customer service. The converted church, property grounds & view was awe inspiring. Such a unique & special place. It is off the ‘beaten path’, but worth the extra drive. Every single BnB should be modeled after Chiesa Ignano 1778. This is a unique experience that you won’t find elsewhere. In our decades of travels, Chiesa Ignano 1778 stands out as one of the highlights of all time.

A great place to relax. The owners create a nice atmosphere and take care of their guests. There is a swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi on site. Around is a large garden with a great view.

A wonderful stay at the Chiesa Lgnano agritourism. An amazing place with a soul (church), history (Etruscan temple) and tradition (it's already the 3rd generation of owners). The lovely Bolgeri family create a place full of passion, in harmony with nature. Greetings to Mr. Gabriele who helped us during the trip. The matrasses are very soft. It's better to come by car, because the closest train station and the supermarket are ~45-50 mins away by foot, and it's uphill (in the direction towards Chiesa).

The place has a very pleasant and calm atmosphere, it's surrounded by mountains and lots of greenery. We were also lucky to catch a blooming season and enjoy all the flowers on the property. The owners Gabriele and Irene are very kind and helpful. The apartment is clean and tidy, has enough privacy and own terrace. We enjoyed our stay!

We had an incredible stay at Chiesa Ignano. The host Gabriele was very helpful and arranging. We came by train, and he came to fetch us at the train station, and was very friendly during all our stay. The location is wonderful, with a breathtaking view over the mountains. The appartment was very comfortable, with whatever is necessary to cook some small plates. Room was perfectly clean, and with good privacy. We also enjoyed the pool and walks through the mountain and to the river near the property. It's better to come by car or bring over some food, as there is no grocery shop at walking distance.

Chiesa Ignano is a hidden treasure for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The setting is stunningly beautiful and the accommodation provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Gabriele and Irene were fantastic hosts, sharing their local knowledge, cooking delightful breakfasts and always on hand for any help or advice. With beautiful views and a variety of areas to relax in the gardens, it really is a perfect place to unwind. Equally, it is well located for those wanting to visit some of the beautiful cities or countryside around although a car is necessary. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Would like air conditions in the rooms

The perfect stay for a vacation! The views are amazing, staff is very polite and helps with every problem that comes up (even if you get lost in the forest :))) The pool is very clean, breakfasts are tasty, the songs of cicadas are bewitching
