- it was very cold in the room. The heating season was already over in april and there was no additional heater; - noisy - but that's the price to pay for living in the center, with the wonderful view:)

- 2 min walk to the lake, near the boat station; - in the city center, wonderful view to the square; - very helpful and friendly owner, gives a lot of good advices, including free parking; - very good breakfast; - comfortable bed, but a bit short:)

Excellent breakfast, 2 minutes from the ships to the B.-islands, in the old, best part of the little town, a few minutes from the train station.. We could leave our luggage after check out. Nice balkon.

It was a little warm in our room at times with no air-conditioning, but the ceiling fan helped. The bed had a wooden foot on it, which meant a tall person could not lie straight in the bed.

Great, central location, right on the town square and a short stroll from the ferry. Wonderful, helpful staff and an enjoyable breakfast. There was a ceiling fan and a small refrigerator in the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect, it's in the city center and surrounded by restaurants, a supermarket and very close to Lago Maggiore and a 10 minute walk away from the train station. The room had everything I needed + a balcony to the quite backside of the hotel. It's a very good price as breakfast is also included. The stuff is also friendly and helpful.

If you are looking fir 5 stars hotel that is not your type, but for us that was good stay in lovely town Stresa and we felt very lucky to find this hotel for such good price.

Take into account that then the main entrance is closed at night, it's not possible to use the elevator and we were on the 4th floor.

My main issue was the loud church bells / glass collection from bars in the square when i wanted a sleep in. Essentially the hotel is too centrally located! (Which is obviously a good thing for other reasons.)

Had a very pleasant stay here. The terrace immediately outside of the hotel is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink and look out on the square. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable (two twin beds put together), and it was also not air conditioned. There was a ceiling fan, but even at full blast it was unable to cool down the room on a summer evening.

The staff was really nice and helpful, and the place had a lot of charm. Also the breakfast in the morning was quite good, especially the coffees! There was a small deck with a view of some hills, and it was very quiet at night, which was surprising since the town square was popular at night.

Very old fashioned, family-run establishment which reminded me of childhood travels in France! We loved this but it might not appeal to everyone. Friendly staff, very good breakfast and central location was ideal for train travellers and people wishing to visit the islands and nearby towns by boat. Nice balcony overlooking the square. Large room, decent bed and plenty of hot water. Deal with local restaurant Fiorentino offered evening meals at a very reasonable price.

The hotel is perfectly situated, just in the central place of Stresa, and less than 5 minutes walk from the Ferry station. The room is confortable and we appreciated the breakfast buffet.
