Wifi was slow for the 1st 4 days and then it recovered. Maria confirmed it was a problem outside of the property which was unusual. It was repaired and then worked fine.

Maria is a wonderful host who goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. The homemade breakfast is delicious and filling, the rooms are cozy, and the location is a peaceful and flat 10 min walk to downtown and main Ciampinoi lift with an even closer connecting lift, Fungeia across the street. Bus stop is right across the street as well. We were glad we were able to support this local family bed and breakfast style outlet.

The garni is located right in the middle of Selva. The breakfast was very nice, fresh and homemade with care. The host was very polite and helpful. The garni itself is beautiful and very cozy.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

We loved our stay at Garni Ortles! We arrived in the evening and were starving after our trip, so they recommended a pizza place in town and offered to complete check-in at breakfast. The room was clean, quaint, and cozy - not sure I’ve ever slept that well on vacation. And the view of the Dolomites from our window was unbelievable! Breakfast was heartier than I expected with lots of options (breads, meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, salad, coffee, hot chocolate, etc.) Hikers! The location of Garni Ortles is supreme - about a five minute walk into town for dinner/drinks, and a slightly longer walk to the Dantercepies lift. I highly recommend the trail from Rifugio Jimmy to Rifugio Puez and back down the valley via trail 14. Life-changingly gorgeous.

Next to the road so we could hear the cars sometimes

A perfect base to explore and go on hikes in Val Gardena. Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance, right next to bus stop that takes you to all hiking trails and cablecars, we even got a free bus card and the timetable which was really helpful. Maria the owner was very kind and attentive, she helped us a lot with the bus connections, hiking recommendations. And not to mention the generous and hearty breakfast that she carefully prepared for us every morning. We will gladly return!

The Location of the hotel is lovely, especially we could hear the sound of the river from our room and that really was relaxing. Maria the owner really greeted us warmly and made us feel so welcome like we were at home. The breakfast was superb, very tasty and fresh everyday. The room was comfortable and spacious with a spectacular view from the balcony.

Everything was above expectations. The room was nicely decorated and clean, we even received a room upgrade. There are parking places on site and the bus stop is very close. You can easily walk to the center of Selva and the major ski installations. Breakfast was delicious and there was a different spread each morning. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating, she gave us great tips about hikes and was very attentive throughout the stay. Could not recommend more :)

the owner Maria was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was creative and healthy with lots of choice. the location is about 600m from Selva centre but almost ski in/out, with the nearest piste passing 50m from the hotel.

A very cozy family-run hotel. The room was great, everything was clean and the shower was perfect after a long day hiking. Maria was super helpful and kind and her breakfast was delicious :) My partner and I really enjoyed our stay and hope to one day come back!
