Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaEverything about this hotel was superlative. Fantastic, large rooms: ours had a private deck overlooking the valley and the hotel swimming pool, as well as a double jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Spotless hotel. A five minute walk down to the Piazza del Duomo and farther on, to a lovely public garden with views. Many restaurants close by. Pleasant breakfast with home-baked goods, eggs on request, juices, fruits and excellent coffee. Charming town. Our two-night stay was flawless, thanks to our host, Michele.

United States of AmericaBeautiful setting with a garden with lemon trees. The breakfast was delicious with everything homemade. One of the best chocolate cakes I have eaten. My son and I got lost driving to the property and were exhausted from driving around. Nicola? walked down to guide us even though he had twisted his ankle that morning. Thank you for your great hospitality.

United KingdomNothing, it was perfect.
Idyllic, peaceful spot. We loved the garden and the pool - even in March it was just warm enough to sit in the garden and swim with heavenly views of the hills. We hope to return!

United States of AmericaWhat a perfect location in Ragusa Ibla! The owner, Michele, and Niccolo were fabulous hosts. We stayed in the room with attached deck that provided an incredible view of new Ragusa. Outside stairs lead up to a rooftop deck which provides sweeping views of the area including the Duomo. The property has an outside pool and lots of orange and lemon trees. Michele provided perfect driving directions to help us wind our way to the B&B and met us outside to help us with parking. The room was good-sized with views of new Ragusa through the windows. Breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice and pastries. There was a new cake each morning, baked by Michele's sister. We signed up for a cooking lesson with Michele and had an enjoyable time making Sciacca Ragusana, a Sicilian specialty. The experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The B&B is perfectly located to walk through Ragusa Ibla and new Ragusa. You won't regret staying with Michele.

United States of AmericaThe setting is magnificent, and Michele the owner and staff exceeded all service standards. Michele even parked our car for us as the tiny wandering streets of Ragusa proved to be a bit much to navigate. The additional bonus to staying here is the charming grassed terrace (with small swimming pool) overlooking another hilltop town... completely changed our visit. So much so that we cancelled our driving tour one day, and just hung out on the terrace. I stayed in one of the more modest rooms, but it was charming and comfortable. Can not recommend more highly!

United KingdomNothing!
Beautiful setting in a perfect location in the shadow of the Duomo. Room was clean and spacious, and looked out directly onto the garden and pool, with the spectacular views of the city beyond. Staff were absolutely great from start to finish of the stay, couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was lovely too, with a good selection of local and homemade cakes and pastries. Would recommend this place to anyone!

United KingdomGiardino Sul Duomo was perfectly located in Ragusa Ibla, overlooking the duomo, and just a short walk from a range of excellent cafes and restaurants. It has the added bonus of the beautiful beach at Ragusa Marina being only a 25 minute drive away. Michele was the perfect host at what is the perfect boutique hotel in the perfect location.

BelgiumThere is nothing bad in this hotel. Just not more than 8/10 given the breakfast room which is a bit basic, as well as the room that lacks of charm. But again, seeing the price, it’s very ok!
The view and the localisation are the 2 strong advantages of this hotel. In a few minutes walk (in very nice streets), you are directly in the city center. For the view… you have 2 in just one hotel. One on the Duomo, one on the rest of the city, and it’s wonderful. For the rest, everything was good, especially with regards to the price. Everything is very clean, and just what you need.
