The WI-FI was very poor and unreliable. Having to pay extra for a front row bed on the private beach seemed a little silly given the cost already.

Everything. The staff were delightful. The food great. The bed and linens exquisitely comfortable. The entire establishment inside and outdoors was impeccably clean and well kempt.

The bathroom was small and dated but to be fair the manager did explain that the renovations of the bathrooms were under way.

staff were extremely polite and helpful, the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve seen in a years. The room was quiet and the sea view magnificent. We stayed on the fourth floor deluxe double with full frontal sea view.

The drink and food prices are far too expensive.

The chef at the eg station is always grumpy, hardly understand english and the rest of the service staff is also grumpy in the morning and very attentive…

Breakfast selection was good.service needs improvement for a 5 star hotel.valet was great though.

The beach itself is not that great and was pretty messy with sea rubbish but we were there at Easter, perhaps it is better maintained and cleaned during busier summer months / high season. I certainly wouldn't let this put you off staying at this hotel.

This hotel has the warmest pool we've ever been in, it was heated to 34 degrees! The restaurant and menu are exceptional and the staff we all very welcoming and friendly. A special mention for Sasha at the bar the reception team, restaurant team and Alessandro the manager.

except for two things: we paid for 450Euro of treatments, the access to the Spa should be free, not charged at 20Euro per person. Even if we did not pay for treatments, with a room that costed 350 Euro, Spa access should be free, especially in the Winter! Also, the food is of high quality, but the prices are too high in the context of Bordighera and Sanremo.

All quite good, nice friendly staff, nice facilities, interesting architecture, well manicured exteriors, very nice room with excellent view...

the swimming pool was not heated enough. the sea was warmer. bad surprise is the fact that you have to pay eur 20 per person for SPA and it doesn’t really worth it (too small and basic). the plage is not equipped for swimming, a bit dangerous even for good swimmers.

it was clean and the staff was very friendly. the room was big with a nice view.

Price of soft drinks during "Happy Hour" (6 to 8 pm). 14 € for a coke or lemonade. The same price +/- as an Apero Spitz. Not funny when you have three children - 42 € for three small non-alcoholic drinks. The restaurant menu was disappointing for a hotel of this quality. The sofa bed and the pillows on the beds were very uncomfortable. Very disorganised breakfast service of questionable quality, compared with hotels of a similar class.

Attractive seafront location. Large, well appointed public areas. Helpful staff in car-park and on the front desk. Our suite was spacious and generally comfortable.

Prices for simple drinks like gin and tonic unreasonable. Prices for restaurant food do not match the quality.

Location, view from room, garden area and views, breakfast, beach and beach bar. Reception and car valet service and cleaning staff all very friendly and helpful.

Old rooms, staff is unfriendly, moody and quite unprofessional especially for the 5 stars hotel. Food in the restaurant is not good and unreasonably overpriced. To enter the spa you have to pay extra which is ridiculous, spa doesn’t worth it as well. Hotel is still alive only because of the location. Doesn’t worth the money and time.

Good evening! With my review I want to warn you against traveling to this hotel! During my visit to this hotel, diamond and engagement rings were stolen by hotel staff! The staff didn't even try to help in any way! All the blame was placed on a public place, and that this happens... Very rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff! Totally not worth the money we paid. Overall, old rooms, expensive food and impolite people. I do not recommend spoiling your vacation by staying at the Grand Hotel Del Mare Resort 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Unprofessional staff, someone (most likely from the stuff) stole the diamond ring and the engagement ring. The hotel didn’t take the proper responsibility, everyone was only defending themselves instead of really helping to solve the situation. We were shocked by extremely unprofessional and rude behavior of the reception staff and manager concerning the situation. Overall, nothing is organized in the hotel. As well, the room was very old, food in the restaurant doesn’t worth the given money.

lots of noise from works being carried out works also Sunday morning started at 08h wet paint on handrails, covered my jacket sleeves, nobody informed us, even taking us to the area to sit you would have thought it would be the obvious thing to be informed of.

Restaurant food a bit pricey but it is s 5* hotel so you expect to pay s premium

Although built probably 1970’s the food, service, decor and overall quality were very much on point. The staff are exceptional.
