Tricky location with one way traffic and driving. Not much atmosphere at the hotel. . We changed from half board to bed and breakfast after one night due to quality of food.

The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. We had a complementary room upgrade. Thank you. Private beach and lift to it was good fun.

- Private beach (with working elevator from the hotel) - free parking - sea view and view to Porto Azzurro - we got a good deal and for that price it was a lovely place to stay (the normal rate might be a bit high for our feeling)

Well the dinner menu was limited I thought , though the food we had the night we had dinner was good . Also we arrived just as the season was one day past the high point .- so the shuttle bus which was very important given our locale no longer ran . So I had to drive and not have a drink in Capoliveri . These were the only downsides I can think of . I think the shuttle boat to Portazzuro had also stopped . Otherwise absolutely excellent

The breakfast was very good , the views were spectacular , the pool was enormous , everything Was very clean and mask conscious .The rooms we’re tidied every day to a high standard The staff were very helpful

The overall building is outdated - needs a complete renovation. Gym’s equipment neglected. Standard breakfast with feeling of being in a school canteen. All in all, 4 stars are questionable.

Perfect location. Amazing view from balcony of the room and also from the top terrace for breakfast. Private parking close to the hotel. Private beach and pool.

It’s a bit secluded and not walkable to the nearest towns. The road in and and out is steep and one way so it’s 10 minutes to town even though it looks close.

Breakfast: Very poor and not at all like the pictures on Booking.com shows! Scrambled eggs one day made of rotten eggs, even the smell was awful but the staff didn’t care. The bread buns were mostly hard and yesterdays news. Bacon undercooked. Dinner: According to Booking.com this hotel should have 2 restaurants, not true there is only one and that was catastrophic. The food was just awful and completely undercooked. The staff stressed out and very unfriendly. Beach: The beach restaurant was closed the whole week due to “Bad weather”. The weather was amazing during the whole stay so again just a lie. Bed: Extremely uncomfortable, the mattress springs hurt my hip and when I complained the owners and the housekeeping very bluntly informed me that “we have orthopedic mattresses in all rooms”. I got no help whatsoever and had to sleep on pain killers. The only solution they offered me was to make up the sofa bed for me. Outrageous! Price and 4 stars: This hotel is very far from living up to its price and the 4 stars they claim to have! Booking.com need to review this hotel and take action. This is nothing but a scam altogether and I want my money back!

Exceptional views of the sea and surrounding town. The best waterfront seating without hassle and crowds. Water from shore is filled with fish for easy snorkeling. Giant saltwater pools is great for afternoon cooling off, and having cocktails. Whole place is amazingly clean.

We did not have a view at all and our back terrace was not nice to sit out on. The breakfast was not so great. Too many offerings and not great quality. I would stick with 4-5 items and make them great. The bacon was always undercooked.

The beach area was great - the elevator was slow, but overall it was beautiful - no complaints. The staff were great as well.

The pool was so salty and some of the sun beds were old and not useable. Not much fresh fruit for breakfast and the coffee machine kept breaking down.

We liked our stay at the hotel. The room had a beautiful view of the sea. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff is helpful and nice. The breakfasts were absolutely great. A large selection of sweet desserts. Breakfast on the hotel terrace was a big plus. At our disposal was a spacious salt water pool or the hotel beach, which was accessible by stairs or an elevator.

when we booked it stated there was a private beach and a private swimming pool. when we arrived the swimming pool was not open and the beach not functioning. this was deceiving. state from when the facilities are open as it is a complete rip of otherwise. the hotel is rather tired, all overall it needs a big refurbishment. no internet on the room we were despite claiming there is. the breakfast is dull. you either accept to east a lot of sugar , with the juice distributed by a machine that does not know how to dilute down the syrup and a coffee machine that seems never to work , or the choice s rather poor overall, massive dissapointment. this is a place where big buses stay for the night, but definitely not where to do holidays as a family…

We first got a room with an ugly staircase just next to our balcony. It really ruined our view and we had no privacy as people were walking at the staircase all the time - and it was making a terrible noise when walked on. Got an other room next day and that was not super, but better. The main restaurant was serving real Strange food. We had dinner there once - it was really hard to find just one thing on the menu, that we would want to have. We Saw the changing menus every day, but there was never anything that tempted us - on the contrary. So we bought cheese, sausages, tomatoes and bread and ate on our balcony. Very dissapointing, as we like to dine out. The nearest town was half an hour away with car, but it was a nightmare to get a parkingspace, so we did this only once. The hotel is situated wonderfully with the view over the Bay - but it is too isolated. No village nearby and you have to go half an hour by car to the cosy village just on the opposit side of the bay (you have to go quite a bit into the country to go there, as there (funny enough) is not direct road, following the coastline. The hotel was grand and Nice, but not very cosy. They have a Nice, Big rooftop, that was only used for breakfast. Could have been a very Nice place to sit and have a drink in the evening. And the bar in the groundfloor was just some chairs and tables outside - not impressive at all. This was not a cheap hotel and we were quite disappointed, comparing it to other hotels in the same price level.

With the exception of waiters and housekeeping, from the reservation to any assistance, the staff was extremely unprofessional and shallow.

- Not very good value for money. - The breakfast situation was very stressful as you cannot get your own food in the buffet and you would have to tell a person what you want exactly and how much. I think this was their response for the covid situation, but I think this could have been done better. So many coffee cups were dirty and stained too. - The gym was definitely not well equipped and had very old weights, mats, etc (basically, you can forget about this ammenity). - The corridor leading to our room was smelling so bad, probably from a room service food left for too long outside. It lasted the whole week of our stay. - The front desk people are not that friendly and don't greet guests very often. - The building is just very old and needs a lot of renovation. - Lastly, although we appreciate the private beach access, it was very windy in the area. We also realized that this was unnecessary for us because there were a lot of nice beaches to explore in Elba.

Housekeeping was coming on an everyday basis. There was a spacious parking space available for guests. They also had a private beach access that also has toilets, restaurant, beds, and lifeguards. We also had a nice view from our room.

Staff at check-in is really bad. We ordered a room with balcony but got a room without. There was no way they would change it. Booking.com tried to call (3x) they refused to respond. They wanted to charge us 400€ extra (what a scam). Booking.com send a email they didn't respond (24h). This is really not a 4 star hotel.
