Location Our room was upgraded thankfully to a junior suite with 2 large windows facing the ocean, because our original room was so hot and had a tiny window and couldn’t breathe in there, and no air conditioning . Great breakfast

The hotel needs some renovation for particular details: the shower in the large bathroom does not correspond to the hotel's level, and the same for the hair drier or the bed lamp (only one) with a cumbersome switch

The building is fantastic, the rooms are big and comfortable, and there was a nice choice for breakfast

Very grand and spacious of historical importance. Location excellent for views of the inner port and easy walking to old city centre. Our room had a harbour view and very spacious. Off season this was affordable for us. Obviously due to changes to tourism have reduced facilities such as not offering bar and dining options. Breakfast buffet excellent.

A slight misunderstanding with the receptionist on duty (male) but nothing that couldn't be rectified with a smile and a nod! The hotel staff were incredibly patient and kind with most requests but definitely bring a travel iron as there are none in the room.

Albergo is perfectly situated for a relaxing city break in Brindisi with loads of great restaurants and places of interest dotted along the Port and the old city a minute's walk away. The hotel is grand in every aspect with beautifully appointed suites and incredible views of the Port with Argonnes Castle guarding the entrance. Also, watch out for the super yachts, which come and go most days!

Decor needs more work but the bones of this hotel are perfect, the rooms are massive and with more time and money it’s only going to get better.

The views over the harbour are excellent and there’s always something happening on the water here.

Rather minimalistic facilities for a 4-star. The bathroom was big and spacious, but the shower was ironically very tiny, with a slightly malfunctioning shower door. The telephone in my bedroom was not connected. (Could've needed to use a wake-up call option) There was free bottled water in the fridge, but could probably do with a boiler and tea/coffee facility in the bedrooms? (Most 4-stars I've been have had that minimum) The bed was very hard, and rather uncomfortable. Was mostly clean, but upon arrival the room felt rather outdated and a bit dusty. On the whole, it was a rather positive stay, but these little things can bring a huge improvement!

Very unique older-style hotel with very artsy indoors and decor. Excellent location, very practical and close to the airport, and has a lot of restaurants, the port and the beautiful old town just next to it. Very friendly and kind staff (even if sometimes their help was a bit counterproductive, as I got to a wrong place with their directions, but their heart and intentions were in the right place!) Affordable price for the room, even if calling it a "4 star" may feel like a bit of a stretch.

I liked everything. The hotel is in the harbor on the promenade itself. Downtown. A wonderful palace hotel. Breakfast excellent. I'm vegan, but I had a lot to choose from.

In an area which is pedestrianised at night, which might mean a walk. Our taxi was able to get us to the door because my wife was on ctemporarly crutches.
