Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLights by the door didn't turn off and had to turn them off from the breaker panel near the door. Aircon was off for the first few days & the temp in the room got to about 26°C before they turned the main aircon systems on. No fridge in the room
Great resort/hotel! A bit dated but very clean and in quite good shape overall. The saff were all very pleasant and helpful. Location wise it's not too bad - you can get bus no 10 from just outside the hotel and it will take you straight to the train station. From there you can take bus no 2 to venice, or the train. The bus tickets need to be bought before you board the bus and you cand do it via whatsapp - look out fot the qr code in the bus station. We bought the breakfast option and thought it was great. Their restaurant for dinner was great too. The cleaners cleaned the rooms every day too. Overall I think this was great value for money and it's been great for a 3 star hotel.

South AfricaThe shuttles to and from Venice is extremely expensive, almost 4times the price of a bus or double the price for a taxi. The rooms are also extremely hot, and you can not change the temperature manually.
The resort overall is nice and spacious, with a lovely restaurant for dining in the evening. Also a great spread for breakfast

UkraineThe breakfast was not very varied but ok for a couple of days. I wanted to use the pool but found out on site that you need to have a cap, bathrobe and some slippers to enter it. The location is nice and quite but buses to the railways station to once an hour.
Nice and clean hotel. Good restaurant with tasty food. The room was spacious, comfortable.

CroatiaYou have to exit the hotel to go to the swimming pool (it is located in an adjacent facility right next to the hotel). The pool also required clean slippers, swimming cap and bathrobe or towel. It would be good if we knew this in advance so we could prepare outselves. Also the gym requires clean shoes to be changed in the changing room there and a towel to put on the machines. It would be good if we had a fridge in the room, but as we were there in February it wasn't such a problem. The duvets could be a little warmer but room heating system helped. The restaurant in the hotel is a pizzeria, but we were told pizza is only served on weekends (friday-sunday) so we went elsewhere for dinner.
The hotel is located in a quiet and peacefull neighbourhood and has a big parking next to it. The breakfast was good. The staff was nice and friendly. The reception staff was available only in the morning, but we were given a contact in case of emergencies. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The towels and bed linen were changed every day. The heating system was good and the room was warm. We used our own car to get to Venice and paid parking for the whole day there. It seams like a better option than the bus for our family of four.

AustraliaWas no fridge or coffee/ tea making available, at least the temperature was at -4 to 8 so the window sill worked as a great fridge! You need a car to get to Venice etc.
The room was a good size and the breakfast was great, including bacon & eggs & continental style. The restaurant staff were very friendly. Plenty of free parking

United KingdomNice big kitchenette but no kettle or mugs so if you wanted a hot drink it was a challenge. Outside pool was closed in September which was a shame as it was still warm. Wifi was rubbish make sure you have lots of mobile data
Lovely location. Quiet rural great sport facilities. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, decent curtains that actually black out the light. Good restaurant. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Big carpark if you drive there. Only 15 drive from Venice or closer to Train station. Would stay again.

United KingdomReception staff not friendly or welcoming upon checkin.
Great budget hotel with pool facilities. Reception staff not great on check-in a bit rude. Otherwise a great put stop to visit venice while giving some down time by pool during mud day heat. While transfer was available to venice I would recommend having a car as it can be quite expensive to get to and from at €35 on direction.

United Arab EmiratesReception staff are not professional, while there is availability on booking website they said there is no availability for extra nights. They try to push for extra service just to charge you with extra money.
It is not to far from Venice, but you have to have a car or to use the shuttle from the hotel with extra cost. You can always negotiate the price if you got the gut to do that or just don’t bother.
