Location is perfect. 5 minutes away from Rialto bridge and water taxi to airport. 9 minutes away from St Marco Square. Breakfast is fabulous. Our room was perfect and just beautiful. On our early departure a breakfast bag was prepared for us, sandwich, yogurt, fruit and biscuits. . I would recommend to everyone for a stay!

The bed mattress was very hard. And for some reason they shut the heater down on a seasonal basis the weekend before we got there. Bad move because it was 50 F and raining so we froze in the room.

Great location between Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was above average and it was clean.

The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is located a short walk from St Marks Square and Rialto bridge and right in the middle of a tourist spot, but couldn't hear much noise from the street.

We had a 6 am flight so we had to leave at 3 am. The night clerk was a wakened to unlock the front door. He was very grumpy and attempted to charge us 3 days of room taxes rather than the appropriate 2 days.

Staff was excellent, giving us helpful directions and recommendations about the sites of Venice. Great location, with virtually straight walks to St Mark's Square and the Rialto. Convenient to some good restaurants.

Hotel is clean and up to date old-world charm, location is convenient to the Rialto bridge stops for both Alilaguna (airport transport) and vaporetto (all local water transport). Also hotel is a simple stroll to St Mark’s Square, many shops and restaurants conveniently located.

Ask for extra pillows! Bed is very firm. Air conditioning not available until summer months. Open windows mean mosquitos and loud noise and talking from outside so not a good idea.

Excellent location, quick walk to San Marco square and Basilica, museums, Rialto Bridge. Tons of restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is nice and friendly staff.

We are a family of 6, the bedrooms were perfect but we found the breakfast room a little tight to get around.

The location was superb, the rooms lovely and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Use of the shutters outside the window to block the morning light is recommended. The staff were very helpful. We had a lovely stay, thank you Hotel Gorizia

Totally out of hotel's range but there was some loud noise from the outside in the middle of the night (drunken tourists but also sounded like someone was being mugged, a bit disturbing tbh) so if you're a light sleeper you might want to stay somewhere that is not so central but quieter. But it shouldn't be a problem for a short stay.

Great, central location - very close to Rialto Bridge and St Marc's Square. Good value for money. Breakfast was very good for Italian standards. The stuff working the breakfast shift were amazing, they were super efficient and made sure nothing was missing from the buffet. Well done!
