Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe place was quite too warm (I was unable to turn down warming a bit) and also some walls in the room looked quite messy. But still, it was very nice place and comfortable to be there. For work travel it was enough.
Very cozy place and personnel was very polite and helpful. Very big thumbs up for the man at the bar at the breakfast place. He was very kind, talkative and politely explained everything about the food etc. he asked many times if I have everything I needed which I also highly appreciate. Everyone who goes to this place should include breakfast here. :) Also location of the hotel is awesome as everything is close and you can go to the city center by walking. Also I am very happy that staff was fine with my late arrival and was able to give me instructions for the case I would arrive after 23:00.

GermanyEverything was ok for a 3 star hotel near the city center in Florence - no complaints
Room was ordinary with a small balcony in the courtyard. The location was ideal for us with about a 20 minute walk to the old town. We were able to park our car in the hotel courtyard at a cost that was the same or lower than the surrounding parking garages. Breakfast was great considering the cost of €5 per person (which I have never experienced in a hotel of this standard). In any case, Luca the breakfast waiter was in a class of his own. Thank you for that

United Arab EmiratesThe product is a bit dated and I believe that with a renovation the hotel can really be next level! The ceiling had original wooden beams and the room was facing a lovely courtyards
Very short stay as we had to take the train next day. Check in was smooth, our room was perhaps upgraded, very spacious and quiet. All what we needed.

SloveniaMosquitos.
They have a private parking lot. Is small but you feel very safe to park it here rather than on a public parking beside the street. There is a parking fee you need to pay if you want to use their parking (paying per night). You need to tell them in advance you want to park in their private parking, so they can make sure there is enough space. The staff was very kind and helpful. Quiet and tidy. Nothing special, but for a short stay in Florence this is just enought.

IrelandI was cold in bed the first night. I asked for an extra blanket and had no further issue.
Breakfast was good. I thought it was a great base from which to visit Florence as we were within walking distance of the centre Good

AustraliaI don't know if I get the crappy rooms because I travel solo but this was dark & airless. I needed to turn on every light such as they were and on opening the windows it was an open invitation to the mosquitoes. The reception hours meant I saw, & therefore communicated with a human only at checkout. Totally unwelcoming & no assistance at all. People need to get over using COVID as an excuse for not greeting guests! Won't be back.
The breakfast person was great as were the cleaning staff. 20 minute walk to station Santa Maria Novella & at 69 with luggage I did it ok. Very close to one of the best resaurants I've been to in Italy (I don't do Michelin stars) Da Nasone, Via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria. Great food, great price, family run, lots of "family banter", the young bloke's a bit up himself but truly fabulous meals. Be brave & try something other than pizza you'll think you've won the lottery!

Czech RepublicThe breakfast was tragic. Basically only small jams not a good quality, butter and nutella. No sausages, no salami, no vegetable. One day waitress had more than a half hour delay for breakfast. The elevator didnt open door on my floor so I stoped using it.
I like this hotel. It is on a quiet place but still not so far from a center. The tram stop is close by. The receptionist was very nice. I liked my room although the room equipment was pretty old and in case of air conditioning kind of loud. Comfy bed, view to a courtyard.

JordanThere is extra fees for parking and bringing a dog. The fee for the tiny dog is higher than what you normally pay for a big one. Also the breakfast is really not worth the money, so don't book it. The hotel and rooms are very dated and need renovating. Everything has its use wear and the bathroom is also very small.
The rooms we're clean and the staff always kind. There was a parking spot in the back of the hotel and it's only a 15 minute walk to the attractions, so you are not immediately surrounded by crowds of people when exiting the place.

United KingdomThe bathroom was small including the shower. we could not use the water at full power as it sprayed out on to the bathroom floor and there was only a shower curtain to contain it.
The room was very clean and the staff were friendly. The room was a good size with a balcony. It is very safe as they close the entrance in the afternoon with access only with a fob key.
