Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe shower was extremely tight and getting in and out was challenging because of the height of the tub
We were a little too close to the Ponte Vecchio and it was noisy at night because of all of the activity. Ask for a room not facing the bridge. The buffet breakfast was great. the staff was nice and helpful.

United KingdomI wish the terrace was open in the day as it was so very peaceful up there. A proper little sanctuary with views
This was my second stay at this hotel, and in 6 years it was nice to see it has stayed the same welcoming and friendly place. Its central location meant we could easily go out and come back to rest in peace and quiet away from the crowds, before wandering out again. Its simplicity and the smoothly run service were great. We ate in the restaurant one night. Amazing food from a simple menu, with some of the best roof top views over the city, served by super helpful staff, and it was peaceful but not too quiet

United States of AmericaWe stayed here in 2011. Our stay then was fantastic! Since then, the hotel has been sold to another group. The hotel is tired and in need of updating. I am sure the pandemic did not help in any way. HOWEVER, we did notice there was updating being done on the first floor. It appears that new management is taking steps to address this issue.
Staff were exceptional! Lobby staff went out of their way to ensure our happiness. The breakfast staff were amazing as well. They were very attentive to everyone's needs! Even though the hotel is tired we would stay here again!

Romania- the walls need to be repainted - there was a bit of mold in the tile joints * would have been nicer to have a firmer mattress, but that's just personal preference
- Great location and view from the hotel's restaurant. - Good and varied breakfast - Friendly staff - I received a room upgrade upon arrival - quite room even if the hotel is located in very busy area

IndiaI am only nitpicking here, but the area nearby shuts early (post sunset). I visited in the off-season time of February, so I don't know about season time. I couldn't find any eateries that were open late night when I got a little peckish. Although the hotel has a restaurant that offers dinner till 10pm but it can be slightly pricey.
This has to be one of the best boutique hotels in Florence. The location is fantastic - right at the foot of Ponte Vecchio, a few minutes walk away from the entire historic town centre. I couldn't have asked for a better location to stay at. The staff is extremely sweet and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are adequately sized, comfortable beds and a great breakfast spread! I love the relaxation lounge they have on the mezzanine floor as well. The bus stop is right outside the hotel entrance - offering easy connectivity to all of Florence, including the Piazzale Michelangelo. Can't recommend this place more! Tip: Wake up early and step out of the hotel onto Ponte Vecchio, before the crowds begin. It's magical to have the bridge all to yourself.

United States of AmericaOn the Pont Vechio and walking distance to Pitti Palace in 5 min. Perfect location! Room was spacious and so was the bathroom. The breakfast satisfied all nationalities and had great coffee machine. Has a restaurant but I didn't try it at night. Near several nice restaurants and tons of shops on the bridge.

United KingdomThe hotel is in a super location and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We loved the view over the rooftops to the Cathedral Dome and the Palazzo Vecchio. The room was quiet and the beds very comfortable. There was a good variety of choices for breakfast and we appreciated the kettle in the room. Thank you to the staff for a very enjoyable stay.

AustraliaSince my first stay at this hotel in 2010, I believe the hotel is under new management, and I was disappointed that the room was considerably more ‘tired’ and the decor was completely different, and I hate to say, but to a lower standard. It was disappointing that the main roof top terrace was no longer offered as an area to eat breakfast, as the views from there are special.
You can not fault the location of this hotel, right at the base of the Ponte Vecchio, within easy walking distance to the Pitti Palace, the Uffizi Gallery and central Florence. The breakfast offered had a great selection, with an option to sit outside on the roof terrace without views. There is a lift.

United KingdomLoved the rooftop bar and breakfast room. Really friendly staff and great rooms, fab air conditioning in this heat (40 degrees!) and good bathroom facilities. Clean, big towels everyday and no problems with water pressure, which other reviews have mentioned. Location was a winner and all-in-all I would recommend this hotel to others!
