Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Pretty much what the other reviews say: shower doesn’t always heat up. Rooms are hot. It’s quite shabby. I wouldn’t love staying here for more than a night.
The location is nice if you’re traveling through Milan. Beds are okay. Pretty cheap. Good coffee.

The hotel is old, and the internet was a bit unstable. Since it doesn't have a kitchen, we didn't have options for dinner on the 1st day (we came late at night). The neighborhood is a bit strange due to the station (typical for many train stations' vicinities), and there aren't fast-food restaurants or markets close to the hotel. Be aware to have options to eat and drink if coming late. But in general, these are minor problems. The hotel attended our needs.
It is a business hotel, and it was perfect for a professional meeting at Politecnico di Milano. It is 200-300 m from Milano Bovisa station, easy to find, and convenient for a short stay. The hotel is simple but clean, with comfortable beds. They don't offer any breakfast option, but there is a cafeteria on the same street, 20 m, where we had breakfast during our stay. In general, it was a good choice, considering that our needs were a place to rest and take a shower for three days.

-The room was located on the first floor and other people could look inside so the curtains had to be closed at all time -shower head was crooked so water was coming out in different directions and pressure hahaha but it was manageable :)

Thin walls being only slight annoyance but not a problem

Warm water took some time to reach the shower, but it got warm eventually
The hotel was near Bovisa, our destination. The room was large enough, warm floor, quite but functional air conditioning for warming, clean sheets, shirt hanger, ample towel, bide.

The reception area looks a bit old and neglected. One of our rooms had carpet and it smelled a bit as ventilation was limited. The other room with wood floor was fine.
Good indoor locked parking for EUR10. Comfortable bed, good shower and clean. Rooms have a classic style, but are well kept and renovated not too long ago.

The property was out of Milan but near the stadium we had to go for a concert so it was perfect for us. The receptionist was exceptionally kind and willing to help as much as possible with whatever we needed. We had a woman’s crisis and were in need of period pads and the girl at the reception asked every stuff member till she found some! Her gesture was highly noted and very appreciated.

The walls were paper thin and I had trouble sleeping. Breakfast was just coffee and if you come at the right time, you might be lucky to get a brioche. International guests might find that irritating, especially as breakfast is advertised in the lift and bar. The times announced are not being adhered to. A bit more open/ updated info would help.
Close to Bovisa station and the Politecnico campus. Housekeeping did an amazing job.

There isn't much in the way of breakfast when I stayed, though the coffee was excellent and very cheap!
Super friendly staff, quite old hotel but very clean. Very practically situated. Particularly appreciated the roof patio outside my room.
