We've got an upgrade and stayed at a modern appartment complex close to the sea. Everything was nice and cozy, very clean and modern. The host family was very friendly and very helpful and we felt very welcome. The italian breakfast was great as well so we had a really great and relaxing time there. Thank you for the great holiday.

- Gets noisy early in the morning from the street and supermarket accross the street - Room was quite small but for one night o.k. - 10 Euro extra charge for a small dog is in relation to the moderate room price and the small room size definitely too high

The breakfast could have offered better quality food, the beds could have been a tad comfier, but we slept well nonetheless, the room was quite outdated but clean, with a nice courtyard view, and besides the construction of a building next door, it was very quiet for being downtown.

The breakfast was ok, kind of commercial goods, but very decent. Decaf was excellent, facilities were great with the view to the courtyard. The rooms were older and the bedding was ok but not fantastic. Pillows were comfy, the bed was a bit stiff. Apart from that, super nice staff, parking for $10 extra, location is ideal for the center of town, and they had a bar at night that we didn't use but seemed cool. They also have a restaurant that we didn't use.

Unfortunately we arrived in torrential rain on motorcycles and soaking wet.. The staff were not very helpful with our check in and took ages.. They wouldn't let us park outside and we had to drive to the locked gate car park a few 100 metres away in the rain.. Not good... Apart from this the hotel was excellent and facilities acceptable

The hotel is very elegant, with historical nuances being placed on an old monastery. It has 2 courtyards where you can relax, an elegant restaurant and a very nice bar. My room was very generous, composed by two rooms actually, one that is a classic hotel room and one that is like a lobby with a couch, a table and 2 armchairs. Is very closed to Verbania city centre.

There was construction work next building to hotel & was very noisy from early morning.also on the evening check in the male receptionist was not friendly look like & no attention to greeting guest & the lady receptionist was nice & attentive

Property is a tad dated but functional. Couldn’t find any plug sockets in the room apart from the shaver socket in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was great but there were no hot options - the pastries were amazing but very sweet, might not be to some tastes. Parking is limited - we ended up paying €10 extra for a guaranteed a lot near the front door. No kettle facilities or fridge.

Great location, staff (Lorella?) we’re super friendly. Beds were comfy and room spacious - we booked a family quid which comprised a double, a single and a couch. Breakfast was easy going, help yourself. We arrived at 9:30pm after a super long day driving through the alps from Strasbourg, check-in was made quick and easy. 5 mins to walk to the front for bars etc.

There was a problem with the AC in the rooms therefore we had to make do with a fan in the August heat. The room was a little small.

The location is close to the centre of attractions and the hotel offers good quality breakfast.

The bathroom is a little old but reasonably clean. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, so we had to turn it off at night. We could hear the people next door, so it is not very soundproof.

Great customer service. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early and park our car there at their private parking spot. There is also a playground for the kids. The food was also good.

Charming hotel and great value for money! We particularly liked: - locked and secure storage room for bicycles as we were traveling by bike -multilingual staff at the reception (German, French, Italian, English, …?) - breakfast & courtyard/garden

parking a bit far and confusing to reach. scanned the QR code that was shown to me but it was the one of the wrong parking, luckless we had also a paper to follow.

Notwithstanding we ordered a "letto matrimoniale" we got a twin bed (two single beds put together with a sheet)). After our claim they offered to change to another room (only 1 option), but this other room was smaller, darker and with a not so good view, so we decided to stay at the first room. Our 6 months old baby is used to sleep between my wife and me (he does NOT sleep in the baby crudle), but with those twin beds put together we had a "hole" in the middle (between the two twin beds) of about 7 cm which of course was not comfortable at all for the baby (that we had to put sometimes closer to me and sometimes closer to my wife, with a very limitated space).

The location was good since very close to the center. The breakfast was also quite good (quite a good choice).

It was a little cold in rooms because of the weather. We were here in May and it rains all day.

Great location. Near the shops and city center. Very nice garden. Small bar. Parking 10€ per day. Breakfast is also good.

When i arrived my first contact with front office person, she was very cold. Not even say hello or explain any things. i have to ask the question that she must say. Even not a look at me. And the rest of the personal of the hotel was really nice. And always with smile and wham welcome. Big thanks to them .

Rooms are poorly soundproofed, but because there were not that many guests we where not much disturbed by others!

The gardens of the hotel are very nice. There is a nice playground which was wonderful for our daughter. The hotel is spacious with lots of rooms you can use (TV room, a sitting room with a piano and e-piano, a small fitness room) and there are lots of places and passages to discover which is also wonderful for children. The rooms are furnished practically- everything you need is there. Supermarket ist just a 2min walk away and when we where there (low-season) it was no problem to bring food/drinks from outside. We also were welcomed to eat our take away dinner from outside in the restaurant because the had just dinner there at the weekend - even then it was no problem (maybe because of low-season- but no matter what-thank you we appreciate it). Breakfast was simple but good. Location is quite nice and calm and it takes just a few minutes to the Lago Maggiore, restaurants and stores in the city. We defenitly revommand this hotel for families, but of course it could also bei nice for pairs or singles. Value for money is very good.
