The room that we first got was facing the stairway and it was the last room of the hotel. This is not the best feng shiu so wse asked for a different room but not available. We upgraded to a different room where we felt better with a balcony; however, the room was a bit noisy when someone is taking a shower. I believe the drain or pipe is going through the bedroom area.

I love the Terrence where the breakfast and dinner at.

The beautiful roof terrace, with Duomo view and very comfortably heated pool were a delight to come back to after walking around Florence. The location, 10 minutes walk from both the station & Ponte Vecchio, can’t be beat.

Rooms are pretty small. Mosquitoes bite at night (I guess I was 'lucky' with the season), although there is a repellent provided. Gym is prohibited to use until 9 AM

Great location, historical center and all tourist spots within walking distance. Very nice bath cosmetics (shampoo, conditioner etc). Cozy restaurant with great food and view.

Location/ easy to walk to all the historical sites and local restaurants. Staff/room/breakfast: Everyone seemed to bend over backwards to ensure our stay was exceptional.

The breakfast was very nice. Fresh fruit, great cappuccino from real machine. Very nice terrass with comfortable chairs. The room was very comfortable, nice, high standard. Valet service to park the car. Walking distance to the city center. Heated pool on the roof. I have travelled for >30 years and this was one of the very best hotells I have stayd in. Many 4-star hotels don't live up to the quality but Ktaft hotel should be 5-star.

The bar area in the evening lacked atmosphere as it’s in the restaurant/breakfast room but annoyingly we were told by the barman we weren’t allowed to sit on the beautiful terrace to have a drink in the evening. Can’t understand what difference it made sitting the other side of the glass door from him but we decided to leave it and go elsewhere!

Everything was perfect, we had no complains.

Everything was as it was supposed to be. Room is cleaned daily, rooftop pool had warm water even on Christmas night, staff is very polite and helpfull, deffinetly going to visit again when in Florence.

Only thing we didn't like was the air-conditioning was set to heater and wasn't able to cool the room. Even though it was winter, sometimes you want a nice cool room.
