We visited in March, would have enjoyed the heating to be turned higher in the room, but it was rather comfortable overall.

Lovely setup, house and surroundings. Rooms are picturesque and elegantly furnished. Great hosts, very warm and welcoming. Amazing breakfast.

The mattress on the bed could do with an upgrade. I felt the springs in the mattress. Allowing guests to have control over the air-conditioning would be better, as they can adjust to their comfort rather than have a set temperature and no remote to adjust. In the bathroom (especially the room we stayed in) I would have like more privacy curtains. The sheer curtains at night when the light was on you could see through. Access the car park can be tricky as the turn and the space is tight and narrow. Maybe suggest to add some mirrors in the driveway so guests can make sure they don't run into anything.

The accomodation was a beautiful space. Quite and a nice walk to the old town. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great. Best Hot chocolate!

Amazing hotel run by the sweetest family that wil do anytime to make your stay as amazing as possible. Free shuttle to the old city 3 times a day. And the scrambled eggs and bacon at breakfast are to die for!

Fantasic hotel to visit the Citta Alta of Bergamo. Very conveniently located, in a beautiful and relaxing surrounding. It feels like you're miles away from the city, but it is a 10-minute walk to get to the main entrance. There is also a beautiful detour through the forest to reach the top of the old city (which is on a hill).

Everything was lovely- breakfast/lots of choice and good quality, location/ in the hills overlooking Bergamo, beautiful. room/ clean comfortable, with spectacular view-cannot fault anything. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful when we asked advice. We used their shuttle service on a couple of occassions which was great! Don't follow the satnav out of the airport, put in- "Viale delle Mura", then the hotel address, otherwise the approach can be very narrow roads, hair-raising coming from the East (we did it once!)

Absolutely everything! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with wonderful smiles. Our room was clean and comfortable. The views are beautiful. Breakfast was very good. Mario, Graciella and Jacomo were wonderful hosts. Recommendations to sights and activities were great! We visited places and experienced Bergamo and the surroundings we never thought was there. We would certainly recommend La Valletta Relais to any travellers visiting the area. Oh, the location is great! 3 minutes to the Cita Alte (Old City) is worth the visit. Very historic and well preserved. Cable cars going up from the Cita Alta to the castle and another leading down to the new city of Bergamo. Go!

Very nice family-owned hotel, super friendly, attention to detail - we felt welcomed and treated as guests throughout! An oasis of flowers, nicely hidden in the hills. Meticulously clean! We will be back!
