Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe neighborhood is very calm with nice restaurants, 10-minutes drive from the train station Santa Maria Novella. I kindly received a surprise upgrade for the three beds bedroom, which is very big. The art-deco revival style from the seventies-eighties plus the Florentine painted ceiling was a nice surprise!

GermanySeems like the hotel had better days in the past. I think a big renovation is needed soon. The one guy at the reception smoked inside the hotel. All in all the guys were friendly but maybe a bit confused and yes, one of them smoked inside.
The location of the hotel is a 20-30 minutes walk outside the city center in a really nice neighborhood with some good restaurants and also some shops and supermarkets in walking distance. The hotel itself seems to had better days in the past but you still can feel the charme of these days. Our room was kind of vintage, small but clean. The bathroom was also totally okay. Also there were a lot of parking spaces right at the hotel for free.

ItalyI found the hotel as a whole a bit old, room decoration a bit old fasihoned for my taste but very comfortable and functional. I would have liked to have a water boiler in the room with some tea or water.
The hotel was clean and neat, the location amazing and very convenient. The room was quiet and with pleasant view.

Italythe shower was broken, the heater takes a long time to heat the room, so it’s cold, the room is dark (missing lights), didn’t have freezer. The room service costs 5€ per day, so you have to use the same bed sheets and towels for days. The location is beautiful, but really far away from the center (+- 25 min) and they only have one key - and you have to leave it in the hotel when you go out during the day.
room is comfortable, nice bed and pillows. staff gentile

PolandNothing really, it was very good value for money.
The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The owner recommended a really nice pizzeria nearby for dinner. The villa itself. Charming building, located in a green part of the city with a few parking spaces available and a little garden at the back. The location — good bus connection to the city center and the historical sites, not far away from Piazzale Michelangelo.

NetherlandsMake sure to kill the mosquitoes before going to bed. And bring your earplugs, neighbours can be noisy.
Host was friendly. Hotel is outdated, but has it's charm. Rooms were very clean. City centre is an approximate 20-25 min walk. It was a plus to park our car at the accommodation (extra fee). Our bed had mirrors at the head rest.

Germany*On the Website they put Air conditioner and Minibar as a room facility, but instead we got Ventilator and refrigerator in the kitchen's hotel. *bathroom has no Window so the air circulation wasn't good. And it was old. * the real roomsize is not as big as on the pictures. *it has a lot of mosquitos. The 2nd and 3rd day they put mosquitos electric things. It got better but still they are some here and there. *we slept with Windows open, because the room was soo warm/hot. So the Larm from the street can be bothering. For us it was ok. *the Bed wasn't comfy at all. I wish they used other type of thin blanket. It was not soft. *we have to Pay 20€ to be able to Park inside the hotel property area. But then the Staff told us to Park 300m away from the hotel and it was for free. *breakfast was basic. Croissants, tea and Coffee and Juice.
The building and the Interior is really pretty, and the location is really great. It price was not so expensive.

SloveniaThe overnight stay was terrible. First because of hot summer, the air conditioning is not working at all. So we had to open all the windows to get fresh flow of air. And we were sweating of course and afterwards room fool of mosquitoes. We were all 4 with my wife and two kids in blood of mosquitos bytes. We couldn't sleep all the night. In the morning we have caught, when was really colder a bit of 2 hours sleep. The staff was ok, but single guy at receptions also for breakfast orders. He was nice fellow, but when I have checked in, i have paid immediately. I have paid with visa card and the transfer went through, but his copy of payment - slip didn't work, and so he wished that i pay once more. I declined as i said it was paid. And it was as in the morning we have checked together when he insisted if payment is not executed he will have to pay from his pocket. What a nuisance. Terrible experience- it is not my fault that ink in payment system didn't print copy of payment slip which I didn't get it either. I strongly recommend that Villa Liberty immediately invests in new air conditions in all facility. And as well to get nets all over the window against insects.... i was so exhausted after non sleepy night and to drive next 400 km...we needed really good stay. Additionally in the front of Villa is a lot of parking which should be for free (not additional 20 eur with the overnight stay and of course...not to mention breakfast which we had to pay separately. Should be included in the stay. Overall it has cost me 147 eur per night which would be better with all of this included in other facility. But nevertheless, the man at reception tried at least to be good help....
I have liked mostly old style of this Villa, and of course location. Just 25 min walk to Ponte Vecchio.
