Very calm, amazing view from room and from breakfast garden. Ester the host is very welcoming. The room is authentic and quiet. Its on the top of Priano and include privet parking. Very easy to go all amalfi sites. Have romantic stairs to the port. Their is a place to improve in vegan breakfest. We enjoyed staying there for 6 nights. Thanks

We didn't like the cost. It was difficult to get to. Ester helped with information about the bus. We came in low season so it might be easier in summer.

We liked the room and the view. The balcony was stunning and the view was breathtaking. Ester is a nice host. Breakfast was nice. It is a wonderful location in terms of the view. The village is also fantastic. It might be our favourite part honestly!

The indications on the path itself (5 mn from the locanda) have broken off - makes it hard to start the trail. Also: booking asks when you intend to arrive with options between 11 AM and midnight. I picked an hour and the locanda played difficult. Imagine that you had just booked an airport shuttle and it's in the dead heat of summer?!?

Very nice room with beautiful tiles (esp in the bathroom) and direct access to the camino/sentero degli dei.

It’s uphill from the restaurants but I guess it’s like that all over Praiano so not sure it’s relevant to the location. The internal bus never comes so prepare to climb up and down in this town :)

Since it’s on top of the hill, sometimes it’s tough to walk down/up the stairs to the bars/restos/beach if you miss the local shuttle for 1 euro. No central A/C but very breezy overall if the windows are open!

Great that it was on the top. Breakfast was always made perfectly. The hosts were so awesome for everything and made it such a great atmosphere to stay.

Be prepared to walk up lots of steps or use the local bus. The local bus is great but is different to the main bus to Positano/Amalfi so you can catch that down the hill but it sometimes means you’ll take 1hr+ to get to where you want to go.

The shower water was quite cold. We were told it takes about 2-3 minutes to heat up, but it goes from being ice cold to scorching hot, hot for about 60 seconds then back to cold. We figured out later if you don’t pull the handle all the way up (make the water pressure weaker) it helped keep the water warmer longer. Also of course if you want a view like this hotel, keep in mind there are several hills and steps to take to get there from the main road. We had taken bus from Sorrento to Praiano, and it drops you off at the main road so from there we had to carry our suitcases to the top on cobblestone hills/stairs. It was about 8:45 PM when we arrived to Praiano, and the hotel does not make accommodations for check in past 9 PM, leaving us to scramble to get to the top rather quickly. The taxis are over priced and the local bus is never on time.

The breakfast provided in the morning was delicious. There were warm croissants, toast, yogurt and a cappuccino, all in a beautiful garden view overlooking the town. The property also itself has a stunning view from the top. It was clean and the AC in the room on a hot day was a huge plus.

Incredible views, comfortable room with everything we needed, and the best breakfast we had in Italy. Perfect location out of the hustle and bustle of the rest of Amalfi Coast. Highly recommend.

The homemade breakfast every morning was amazing and the host was fantastic in helping us with directions and information about the local buses and restaurants in the town. Location was excellent, easy to access the local bus which took you around Praiano

The only thing people need to be aware of is to make sure that you are aware of the local bus (black Mercedes van that says local bus) that takes you right up to the hotel. If not you’ll have to walk up and haul your stuff up with you up .7 miles of hills and stairs which isn’t ideal. Ask the front desk when the local bus comes so you can make sure to take it up to the hotel.

This was the hotel that we didn’t know how it was gonna be when we got there, but it blew our expectations out of the water!!!! My wife and I loved every bit of Locanda!! The hospitality was great, breakfast was incredible, the views are stunning, and just overall a great value for my wife and I!

Beautiful views and the place was run very professionally. Wonderful breakfast with a different croissant every morning, and the host was more than happy to assist throughout our stay, with restaurant recommendations and bookings, driver bookings, arranging a scooter etc. The place is wonderfully decorated with stunning tiles and detail. A lovely spot under the lemon trees outside to enjoy a wine with a view. Access to Path of the Gods just across the road.

My friend and I came for a 4 night stay for our European summer trip and we absolutely loved it. We had a beautiful balcony with an incredible view, our room was clean and serviced each day, and we were given a generous breakfast each morning. The hosts were super accommodating, helped us to book airport transfers, understand bus routes, and have great recommendations. Would definitely return again!!
