The room was small (which we knew) but the electricity was faulty and kept turning lights on during the night. bathroom light didnt turn on without the noisy fan, Balcony was nice but tiny so couldnt sit on it (chairs need replacing).

This old school hotel was in a perfect location in Cernobbio on Lake Como. The flat stroll to the ferry stop and surrounding bars and restaurants is gorgeous. Breakfast included was superb. The staff were attentive and lovely. A view room over the lake would be amazing. we had a side view to the village church which was ok.

We understood that the hotel restaurant would be open Thursday, but it was not.

The view of the lake and the quaint park south of the hotel. We really enjoyed the restaurant next door, Trattoria del Vespero.

I booked 1 room, two singles and a double bed for 4 people. That was all that was available. When I booked it showed a much different room set up. As well supposed to have a balcony as I was dreaming of Cappuccino’s on the balcony in the am. No chance for that. The chair barely fit. We were like sardines in this room!

The bedding did not have comforter only bedspread and sheets.

Only thing we didn't really like was that the rooms were a little outdated but they were still clean, comfortable and everything you needed.

Great location near the lake and the ferry port. Lots of restaurants nearby - we'd recommend MEAT very highly which was a short walk away. Rooms a little outdated but still nice. We stayed on our 'mini-moon' and they did swans with the towels and flower petals which was a nice touch.

Decor is slightly dated in rooms....but location, comfort value all compensate

The only thing that lets it down is that there’s little outside space - just the terrace for breakfast. The area doesn’t have a place on the lake to swim which was a great shame.

Location great, close to the lake and the promenade. Breakfast had a good selection. Loved the extra details such as robes and slippers. Staff very helpful. Lovely relaxed vibe

The breakfast lacked any real vegan options other than fruit and toast. No vegan butter was available unfortunately

A bit small for a deluxe room but very nice.

A fantastic location, and a classic hotel. Staff was mostly friendly, parking was appreciated and though a little different easy to access with the help of staff. We stopped in front of the hotel to drop off our luggage and checkin, then the bellman went with us to show us where to park. Parking is very limited, five spaces I think. Safe and secure, though behind two steel gates. The room was nicely appointed and clean, but fairly small. The balcony facing the lake was good and a great place to spend some time in the evening.. The location on the lake is perfect, right near the ferry station and with good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very good, a blend of help yourself and made-to order, such as for eggs and pancakes. Cappuccinos, lattes and Americano coffee were very very good. Definitely recommended. Prices a bit high but we think worthwhile. Location, views, comfortable and a very good breakfast.

The facilities of the room is very old, and the toilet space is very small, I cannot even fully sit down on the toilet! And I am only 175cm with normal size.

Service from the hotel including parking and reception is very good, friendly staff. Good restaurant.

The only improvements I could possibly think of are minor. One of the light bulbs was burnt out and was not fixed. The safe didn't lock and having tissues in the bathroom would be nice.

Would definitely recommend this hotel. Great location, lovely renovated charming old hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly, hotel restaurant has delicious food, rooms are nice, bathrooms modern.
