Room was quite humid: either A/C was not is use or we could not use it. However, room specific A/C was available, but seemed to be disabled.

Location was very good, on walking distance from major attractions. It was nice to have a breakfast. Personnel was also very friendly and helpful.

Only one small thing. The stairs coming up at night were dark. Maybe motion sensor lights could be installed.

There were a few plug-ins that didn’t work in the Diana room. I also think an iron and ironing board could be useful for people traveling. Overall, these aren’t things I would deduct from the overall stay.

The staff was very friendly, daily cleaning, air conditioning, location, comfort, a place to hang clothes, and beautiful paintings on the ceiling, along with other decor, made the place stand out from others.

The stairs - it is on the 4th floor, no lift. 77 steps (yes i counted them...) but I'm 50 and overweight and managed them no problem. You are only up and down a couple of times each day and given the location, they are more than acceptable.

Location - 100 yards from Il Duomo, 200 yards from Palazzo Vecchio. the room had high ceilings, air con, furnished very well - it was a perfect room in a perfect location.

The building was beautiful, spacious room which had everything we needed. Excellent breakfast and excellent staff. Raffaele went above and beyond to help us when we had a bit of a crisis and it really made our day easier. Grazie!

Just the 77 stairs but it wasn’t too bad after getting used to it and keeping you fit. Noisy a little being right in the centre of the city which is to be expected.

Breakfast was as expected continental, delicious and well served. The cappuccino’s were great. The hosts were excellent always smiling and helpful. They made us feel comfortable. The room was spacious and cleaned everyday. Location perfect for all the museum’s & sights.

While it wasn’t an issue for us, and it was clear in the description, there are a few stairs to get to your floor. Maybe don’t be like us and climb the Duomo in the evening before heading home. Not an inconvenience, just something to be aware of!

The location was perfect! Everything you could want to see was within a 20-30 minute walk. The room was comfortable and the breakfast pastries were delicious. It was easy to check in and felt safe and secure.

Wonderful small hotel (only about 7 rooms) centrally located right by the Duomo. Quiet (double windows), great breakfast, and central location to all the sights. Was great to be able to quickly go back to the hotel if needed. Key card to access doors was nice. Room as pictured on this site (stayed in the triple w/art ceiling and chandelier). Is on the 4th floor-walkup which I knew and was fine with.

There is no elevator in this building, so it's best for people without accessibility restrictions or extremely heavy luggage.

The room was spacious and comfortable. All of the staff was very professional and had our breakfast tables prepared each morning along with a lovely cappuccino. Also, the location is unbeatable - just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and main square. Nearly all the key sites were within a 10 - or 12-minute walk. We had to check in late, but the self check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Staff met us for breakfast the next day to complete check-in.

3-4 flights of stairs. Parents with children or people with mobility issues will find this challenging.

Amazing location in the centre of the old town. No more than a few minutes walk to any of the sights. The room was plenty big enough. The breakfast was good. All in all highly recommended.
