the room was reasonable but very tired as was the hole hotel. the WiFi was also very disappointing and could also do with an upgrade (rather than use an old tactic of paying for a better service. (If its already there support your guests instead of trying to get an extra buck that you know you're not going to get)

Maybe a better quality of the towels, at least the one set we had was rather used and probably towards the limit of replacement.

Nice hotel, clean with very friendly personnel. It is located up in a hill with a view looking at the Harbor. Near the city center, the place is ideal for a short stay in Ancona before taking the ferry. I will certainly stay again! Nice and complete breakfast with all standard things available. And an excellent Italian coffee!

The room doors are not soundproof at all and there was a lot of white dust below the bed.

Nice and old hotel. A lot of real wood was used as building material,which we liked. Very good breakfast Buffet and friendly staff.

The hotel is a bit old, which was not a problem 'cos I saw it in the photos before booking. The problem was unpleasent smell when entering the room. Most likely, the previous guest was accompained by a pet. Also the shower did not work well.

The hotel staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful.

Though the hotel is spotlessly clean in the typically Italian way, it is showing its age. It could be a very fine property - the building and its location have potential) but needs some work. Also, the breakfast could be improved (the dry clumps of scrambled egg, for example). It was perhaps a little bit overpriced for its current state.

The hotel is about as near to the ferry port as can be, though via a circuitous route. The young man at reception was charming and helpful, recommending a restaurant nearby. Our room had a good view of the harbour and some of the historic buildings bordering it. The hotel welcomes pets. I was surprised by the surcharge, but it turned out the hotel provides a dog bed (unfortunately too small for our cocker), a bowl and treats. It also turned out that the surcharge was too complicated to deal with on the hotel's IT system, so in the end it was waived!

There was a bad smell in the room when i checked in,the Minibar was unplugged and a battery was missing in the remote from the TV.I mentioned the missing battery to the lady at the reception and she came immediately to the room with new ones. I had dinner at the main restaurant,i have to say that it’s not a nice place to sit,the atmosphere is very cold,no background music and the choice from the menu is very restricted and overpriced.I took a plate with Prosciutto ham and Mozzarella (italian products) for 17 € !!!

I like the fact that the hotel is close to the port and to the city,it has a large parking area just in front of the hotel.The staff is very friendly and welcoming at the reception!!!

Third time we spend a night in this hotel. The location is very convenient for us, as we have to catch the ferry the next day. Also is a sort walk from the city center. The room was spacious and clean. Very good buffet breakfast with fresh ingredients. Parking in the front area without extra or hidden charges! Helpful and very polite staff.

I had assumed that we would be able to sleep three in a two person room with the addition of a cot, as seen in photos on booking.com. We had to end up booking a whole separate room to accommodate us, which was undesirable, seeing as though it would have been preferable and more accomodabile to us if the confusion presented in the pictures online were clarified from the get-go.

The staff was very nice and accomodabile.
