Best place to stay in Barolo region! Unfortunately we didn’t able to stay there for longer. Breathtaking views on surrounding hills with vineyards. Great design and service. Amazing breakfast with fresh local food. And of course, great wine selection and excellent white truffle in local restaurant.

Absolutely love the property and staff but would not be fair not to point out the little technical things needing fixing (that were not there last year) so that the stay is full 10 out of 10 - eg shower head not working properly, steam room not functioning at the start (the hotel have called in a technician to fix), the door would not properly lock. At this price point these little things should be fixed before the guests notices ;)

The shower in our room is too antiquated. It looks good but slow flow and the drainage is all over the bathroom floor and out into the reception area. Breakfast in our room was in some respects disappointing; insufficient coffee, uninspiring pastries but orange juice and yogurt were very good.

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The view from bedroom was absolutely superb. Dinner was excellent. The staff were knowledgeable, dedicated and efficient. It was noteworthy how much they helped each other as well as the guests. My visit to the wine cellar was a great experience and everything is for sale!

The directions which the hotel provide a good. But the road out of the village is poorly maintained until you get to the hotel.

The breakfast was wonderful with a good selection to choose from and eggs made to order. Freshly made bread and croissants.

interesting designed resort in the middle of the Cerequio vineyards… Staff were the kindest and tended to our every need… fantastic views and a nice relaxing pool as well…Also the attached chapel was perfect for us during Holy Week!

Access to the property through the vineyards is partially unpaved and leaves cars pretty dusty/dirty, but this is quite common in the area (also when visiting other restaurants in the vineyards) and due to being world heritage site the road needs to remain untouched/unpaved. There was a technical issue with availability of warm water during our stay which was not the hosts fault, but the host offered a discount to compensate for any inconvenience which was appreciated.

Very friendly hosts, offer transfer out to nearby La Morra. Beautiful view over the hills of the Barolo. Informative and good wine tasting available. Dining option at the hotel is fantastic, fresh produce and great cuisine. Roberto and Jane made us feel at home at the lovely hotel which is stylish and comfortable at the same time. Breakfast has a good sample consider how boutique this hotel is. My daughter loved the Nutella machine. My first time staying in a room that has your own steam room which was pretty amazing. Free bottle of wine for our stay. Cellar within the hotel did not disappoint - guided by Roberto on the tasting which we learnt so much about the local terrain, and we were able to take our own time in the cellar to finish off our tasting. The ability to roll back into bed with a sweeping view of the vineyard was exactly what we wish for! Definitely one of our best stays in record - we are frequent travellers in Asia and Europe. We wish we could stay here for longer to enjoy the restaurant and the pool.

Restaurant had good food for dinner, but we thought the experience fell a little bit short of what we’ve come to expect for Michelin star restaurants.

Stunning property with exceptional views. Good location between La Morra and Barolo. Room was terrific, with great rain shower, steam room, and jetted tub. Large windows. Good restaurant recommendations. Clean rooms. Wine cellar is stunning. Good breakfast.

The drive into the Palas, unsealed road, unkept, unloved and the parking area is also in need of serious redevelopment. Given the soft terroir in this beautiful Barolo valley, a sealed road access should be a given, the dust is bad enough without having to continually creating more by having to drive in and out on dirty, bumpy access road.

The dining experience was really exceptional, dinner was fantastic, the wait staff were magnificent,attentive, knowledgeable, just really lovely and an adequate breakfast choice, all good.
