Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Very beautiful historical hotel. First line to the sea. Our sew view Delux was delicately decorated and cozy. Rooms are nice and clean, bed is very comfortable. Very warm and welcoming hospitality service with recommendations about locations to go, and daily questions👍🏼 Delicious and variable breakfast with personal preorders. Highly recommended!

United KingdomThe decor of the hotel is colourful, but may not be too everyone's taste
This hotel sits in a nice location, very close to Taormina, but away from the hustle. The room was looking out onto the brilliant sea. It was warm (in January) and comfortable. The breakfast is very tasty, fresh and individualised.

ChileThe outside of the property, it’s difficult to find it and the price, it’s very common in Italy but for that amount you can take a very good hotel in Germany for example.
The view from the room to the sea, rooms was very confortable and we could take a good rest..

United KingdomThe hotel can do with a little freshen up - our room was under the kitchen and it was a bit loud in the morning
The staff were amazing and made our stay incredible. Luana at reception organised a room upgrade (so grateful!!) and she gave us a lot of recommendations about where to go she was so accommodating and so kind I honestly can’t remember last time someone was so good at her job! Antonella from the breakfast team was also so good, so kind and so efficient she allowed us to keep some food in the fridge after check out and her hospitality skills were unbeatable! Also The property is right on the seafront and has amazing rooftop with great views where you can enjoy breakfast included and dinner - very good food!

The experience as a whole was fantastic! The staff at the hotel are amazing and went out of their way numerous times to ensure we had the best trip possible! The views from the room and breakfast are outstanding and the breakfast itself is great. Location is brilliant too as you're close to the touristy area of Taormina but just far enough for a cheap bus ride in and in the perfect area for authentic Sicily!

United States of AmericaGreat, clean room right on the beach, but BE ADVISED. This hotel is bordered by two roads: one going TO Taormina and the other coming FROM Taormina. So if you get a room on the return road from Taormina on a weekend night you will listen to steady bumper to bumper traffic for over an hour. I thought for sure a Beyonce concert must have let out. But THAT many people go to Taormina on the weekends for the evening and they all drive home on this one route right outside your room. Not much to do in Giardini Naxos, so next time I will certainly just go join the evening party in Taormina!
Great, clean room right near the beach. Amazing, fresh and varied rooftop breakfast overlooking the water. It doesn't get much better than this. Staff is super kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, unless I chose to splurge and pay the big $ for a place in Taormina, which I thought was charming and pretty but touristy and crowded.

United KingdomEvery day we had to fill out a form saying what we wanted for breakfast the following morning.... how do we know what we'd fancy? The staff were helpful and friendly if you asked a direct question but otherwise didn't offer anything
We got a free upgrade to a suite as there was something wrong with our assigned room (they didn't tell us what), so how could we not be happy

Czech Republici dont really have any downsides, maybe just that we ordered breakfast which we filled in their list but in the morning we got something else, but that can happen anywhere else. After telling them they brought all the food they forgot ;)
The highlight of the property was the receptionist! It was our second night in Sicily and she was just wonderful! she helped us with a taxi to Taomira, let us stay a bit longer and even upgraded us to a better room! The view!

United States of AmericaWe found it strange that there was one small hand soap for the sink but no soap or shampoo for the bathtub/shower. And the bed didn't have a box spring so almost felt like a hard futon. Nevertheless, we loved staying there!
What a find! This boutique hotel is Art Deco heaven. We stayed 3 nights. Every one of the staff provided 5-star service. The hotel lobby is first class, the breakfast room was warm and inviting, the bathrooms are beautifully tiled with large bathtub and great shower head along with plenty of hot water. Our room was silent as could be (in December), and the location, while not right in the heart of things, was just a short walk to everything we needed. There is a full closet, night stands with plenty of space to keep your things, and a desk. The windows open for fresh air and they also have black out shutters to keep the light out in the morning if you want to sleep in.
