Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very uncomftable, unwelcome room. I wish to Quick sleep and run away. Didn.t read properly that batroom was outside the room. The room was at the last third floor, no lift ( i had heavy bags and disabled mum).
Nice receptionist.

No shower towel hooks to let them dry. No fridge kinda sucked. There was loose tile in my room.
Old school building made it look antique. Huge ceiling fan to cool the room down. The window gave a decent view of the next building. Was able to get a taxi very early in the morning to get a ride to the airport.

Second day of stay they neglect cleaning the room. They mentiond a coffee machine is available but it was not exist. But overall, is good place
Location and price are very nice. The price compared to location is super. The room size is efficient. Well heated in cold weather.

No lift available, so climbing many stairs was tiring with luggage. The separate private bathroom was adequate. Room was small but quiet.
Fantastic location, easy access from the train station. Very close to the main tourist areas. Hotel was a bit 'tired'". but clean and a comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff.

I found out in the evening that the TV in my room was not working. I could turn it on, but it said there was no signal. Also, they provided an electric kettle and a cup, along with complimentary tea and sugar; however, I could not find any spoons, so I found it a bit weird.
I love the location; it's close to the train station but not too close, so it's not noisy. The receptionists are friendly. I like the shower inside my room.

There was no cleaning and no towels or sheets were replaced during my stay. As the bathroom is shared, the cleanliness also depends on other guests, and their assistance is not a given!
It's an older structure just around the corner from Santa Maria Novella, very authentic which is just what I wanted. Extremely central and perfect for me who just wanted to get everywhere quick, and not spend a lot of time at my room but rather in the beautiful city of Florence! Staff was very helpful as well!

Street noise from people having fun outside on the street. Have to take stairs to get to the room. Ceiling are high so lot of stairs to get to two floors . So make sure there is no heavy luggage to carry up.
Great Location, close to station and other attractions. Nice clean surroundings and safe neighborhoods . Staff is friendly and helped to arrange a microwave. Also allowed extra hour for checkout. Close to Indian restaurants and wash and dry laundry place.

All was ok besides lack of information about the property, keys were handed but I personally didn’t know if they had a kitchen or fridge if i wanted to put things for breakfast or any tiny welcoming information was missing.

The price seems a bit expensive maybe due to its closeness to the center.
The building is an ancient style building very very close to the center and the train station. The room was very simple with the external private bathroom, pretty awkward but it was private and clean. The staff is very friendly and available to help at anyway.

I couldn't get internet in my room. This was very disappointing but it did work outside in the hall area. If they are advertising wi-fi then they need to put a note that it doesn't work in all rooms. That would be fair, honest and reasonable.
Wonderful location. Great staff. Very helpful with questions and giving advice. They even carried my suitcase up the stairs!

As it is an old building there is no elevator.
I stayed with my son. We both liked the hotel. It is close to train station. You don't need to carry your luggage for long distances.We could enter our room at 12.00 despite the check in was at 14.30. We could sleep well the bed was OK. The room and the bathroom was clean enough. Don't expect a luxurious hotel but you can stay comfortably.

The room is very small. During the hit wave, the fan was not enough and it was really hot in the room.
The location of the hotel is very central and near the train station. The receptionist was also very kind.
