Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Finland- the young receptionist did not provide any information about the hotel during check-in. Just handed over the key and told someone to guide us to our room. - breakfast was a bit boring after a couple of days. Some vegetables and fried options would have been good.
- Strategic location between Ischia Porto/Ponte - Excellent daily cleaning - Price/ value for money - Nice pool

United KingdomLumpy hard pillows. Bring your mosquito spray! The walls are very thin, we could hear the people in the next room. Luckily we were there at the end of the season so it was generally very quiet.
Location is very good, short walk to the restaurants and town. They were very accommodating and changed our room because we had no aircon. The pool is lovely, a little chilly but grand once you’re in! The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The hotel itself is also very clean. Breakfast is basic continental but was fine for us.

LuxembourgThe sanitary facilities could be improved (I could barely flush the paper, and a 5-minute shower already flooded the bathroom).
The staff was the kindest! The pools were pleasant. Walking distance from the castle and some beaches. Breakfast was pretty decent for the price.

United KingdomWe only had bed and breakfast but I really wouldn’t bother with the breakfast. We almost felt as if we were an inconvenience when we entered the dining area. Very little choice . The Wi-Fi was patchy. There could be tea making facilities in the room which would be an improvement.
The hotel is in a great location. Easy to access both ends of the town. The pool area was pleasant and facilities were clean.

AustraliaNo air conditioning. But I was able to keep my glass doors wide open and close and lock the shutter doors adjusting the opening on the shutters to let the air flow in . I had a fan that was efficient enough.
It was a quaint small older style hotel . It had lovely surroundings and 2 good pools . It was a short walk to the free beach . There's a few restaurants, gelato, fruit shop and bars close by . Walking distance to the castle with many shops , supermarket, restaurants and bars . Around 1 klm maybe less . Then if you walk the opposite way There's the main street/plaza with beautiful shops etc . There's even a small cinema not too far away . I was very happy with my choice . I was travelling by myself. I had a single room it was simple but very comfortable. There was a large balcony. I had a fan that was sufficient. I kept the glass doors open as there were shutter doors which allowed the fresh air in and you felt secure . There was a bus route with a bus stop close by . There appeared to be parking for plenty of cars . They supplied breakfast it was adequate. But don't expect eggs and bacon . It was a very simple , fruit salad , sweet cake , croissants, bread , cereals , yoghurt, cheese and salami . Fruit juices and coffees. I really enjoyed my stay there . I was able to hang my clothes out to dry on the balcony to dry .

AustraliaThe grumpy manager in the breakfast and dining area.
1. The pool(s). The grand pool had ample seating on paved areas and was surrounded by well-kept gardens. The covered lunch area was good, and service was excellent, as was the range of food, beer and wine. The pool and bar staff were really helpful and that added to the enjoyment of the area. 2. Our balcony areas, from which we could see the distant castle and monastery. 3. The staff in the dining (breakfast) area were friendly and quick to provide excellent coffee. 4. The reception staff (a delightful San Dominican and two young men) were helpful and responsive.

GermanyThe shower was a little small, but not a show stopper.
The hotel is very well located. The room was super clean and staff very friendly / accommodating. The breakfast was delicious - boiled eggs, fresh strawberries, cheese, cereals, etc. and of course: great coffee. The last day I had to leave early and they made sure someone was at the bar downstairs to fix coffee before leaving. I would highly recommend Hotel Pineta. Excellent value for money. I’ll for sure be back, Grazie!

United KingdomThe room we had was a little on the smaller side.
We LOVED our stay here. everything about it was perfect. great size pools with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas. Was very quiet and therefore very relaxing. All the staff were lovely, polite and very welcoming. The food at this hotel was also great, breakfast was a very generous spread and dinner was always something new to try and very tasty food. Located so close to both the port and to the castle.
