The property is located in such stunning surroundings. I was sad to not have a room with a balcony, but the breakfast room and outside the property definitely made up for it. The breakfast was lovely as well.

The bed (at least in our room) was on the short side - 190cm. This did not impact our stay nor our rating, becausr the bed is otherwise very comfortable, but maybe someone taller would like to know and prepare accordingly.

Podere Scaluccia is too good to leave. We were so sorry we booked it for one night only! Hopefully, we can return one day soon! The house is set on a hill, overlooking olive groves and with incredible views of the Tuscan countryside. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes, house olive oil, km 0 jams, yogurt and Pecorino cheese, as well as fruit, and delicious coffee! We arrived by car and had no trouble finding the estate. It's also just a short 20-min drive to the center of Florence, so it's perfect if you want to explore the city during the day and relax in peaceful environment in the evening.

Even though the location was really beautiful, it was hardly reachable by a taxi- we struggled to order a taxi (or even if we managed, driver just didn’t arrive, I guess it was too far from Florence- cca 30min). If you don’t plan to rent a car, count with like extra hour or two for your commute to the city or to the airport Also, we were a little disappointed that apart from breakfast, there was no snacks / small meals or wine offer at the facility, would be appreciated given its remote location :)

Everything was perfect. View was the most incredible view. Staff were very friendly and joyous. Breakfast was superb I loved the bruschetta especially. Room was massive and had everything you could want. Room was also very clean. I'll never forget my coffee with the most beautiful view in the morning and all for such a cheap price.

The aircon went off every evening around 1am automatically and it woke me up every time as it got hotter in the room. The breakfast mood was bit awkward with people whispering. :)

Breakfast was good and local, the view was beautiful and the owner was helpful and nice. The room was beautiful with old school wooden touches. Everything was very homely. Perfect for couple.

The view from Podere Scaluccia is utterly beautiful, we could stay there forever. You hear nothing but the sound of nature. Although the house is situated in the outskirts, it is very close to Florence. Our room was super clean. Due to unforeseen circumstances we checked-in at the property super late but the hosts were really helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was served inside although it was August and the weather was nice. It could have been served outside in the garden.
