This is not a criticism but just something to be aware of. The Satnav address according to Booking.com is wrong. You will end up driving down some incredible narrow and steep roads. Not ideal in a rental car. The host did send information but I didn't realise that the reason she sent the information was because the address supplied is wrong. So worth noting. Parking can be an issue. There is free parking on the main road but during peak season it's lucky to get a parking spot during the day. We figured out very quickly to return from wherever we are visiting after 6pm, to ensure that we could get a spot. Alternatively there is paid parking areas but it's very expensive.

It's a gorgeous apartment, in a stunning area. Everything that you need is there. The hosts are attentive and communicative. My partner and I were delighted and felt very comfortable immediately. We couldn't fault the apartment.

Luisa was excellent - very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Beach towels were provided along with coffee and some other small touches. The apartment is a good size and the facilities (especially the shower) are good. The location is perfect. Very close to two beaches and very close to the cable car to Taormina town or the stairs to walk up. There are some restaurants nearby and some mini markets. Our stay at Salu made this a very special trip for us.

The flat is very beautiful with parts of the original stone, located right near the beach with a lot of nice restaurants nearby. The host was very nice, welcoming with wine and other suits and allowed us to check in earlier. Also very helpful for us she parked her car nearby and let us take the place. It was very important since the parking there may be hectic.

The only drawback is: for sensitive sleepers, there are unexpected noises. Some motorcycles will be super loud in the early/late day. Also during my stay, around 5:15-5:30am, there is a weird slapping noise from outside. Nothing bad in the room itself.

Luisa waited us and took a parking spot with her own car so we could park. She is very thoughtful and detail-oriented host. The apartment located right on the top of isola Bella. Very clean room with everything that you need. I told Luisa, with prepared slippers in the room, she also defeated 90% competitors. Also the downstairs cafe and restaurant are also very good, very good deal to stay in Salu.

Pictures don't do it justice! Amazing homely accomodation tucked into the hill, perfectly sheltered from the heat, literally a stones throw from the beach, shops/restaurants just around the corner. Louisa was so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

It's a great stylish apartment with all you may dream to need. The location is amazing - very close to the beach and Isola Bella. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Really worth recommending!

Everything was perfect. The Host (Lucia) is very kind and friendly. She took us from the Train station and bring to the apartment which I didnt calculated. This was brilliant for us. If you want to go to the beach , you can not find a better location. The stairs to beach is just 20m from the apartment. There is a lot of markets, shops, restorants near the apartment. The Apartment is very well decorated and was very clean. If I come again, I would like to book here again.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Conveniently located practically at the steps of Isola Bella Beach with the stairs to Taormina to the side of the accommodation, there were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants to choose from with the cable cart up to Taormina 1 minute away from the stay. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and our host was kind enough to fetch us from the train station and provide us with a welcome bottle of wine, slippers, beach towels and an umbrella as well as all the necessary items needed to have a comfortable stay. As soon as I would message the response time was almost automatic and we were provided with a booklet detailing all transportation and tourism information - thanks again!

No view and not much sunlight in the studio. We had a lovely stay anyway as these were not important for us.

Excellent location, with easy access to Isola Bella and right on the stairs route to Taormina. Very clean, with everything you need in the studio. Lots of storage space, the place is new and has lovely details. Bathroom is clean with new fixtures and has everything you might need (including good quality toilet paper which is not that common at this price range). The host is lovely, very helpful and nice, she offered to pick us up from the station as it was a rainy day.
