Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The reception staff was not friendly. Also at the breakfast buffet you are not allowed to put food on your plate by yourself - there is one person responsible for doing so, which makes it way slower. They literally ask you: Eggs? Sausage? Bread? Cheese……

The beds are quite narrow. It is not in the best area but close to the station.
Friendly staff, clean hotel with a good breakfast.

We needed to go across to the sister hotel next door to use the bar in the evening if we needed a drink etc. Not many shops nearby
Staff were all friendly. Hotel was clean inside. Rooms were big with a lot of space. Only a 4/5 minute walk from the metro which was very handy to get to anywhere we wanted to. Breakfast was simple but very tasty.

Very early check-out until 10:00!!!! The first time I see such a thing - breakfast until 10:00 and check-out until 10:00!!!!! The view from the window is tragic! Dirt all around, the area is scary!

The area of where the hotel is based, is not the best. I felt on edge while walking through there even during the day
The room (we had a terrace) was really nice, the breakfast is basic but was perfect to grab some coffee and some light bites before heading out. The hotel offers a shuttle bus in the evening to the Port which is filled with lots of little restaurants which was brilliant on a night out if heading out for food. The hotel is a about a 15 minute walk to the train station

Breakfast is actually not buffet, the staff gives you what you ask for - the system which I absolutely hate. No mini-bar (refrigerator). Quite far from the city center, if you travel not by car.
The hotel has a very spacious free parking, good coffee.

We have had 2 stays in Tiempo hotel, first stay was much more better than the second one. The stuff wasn't that helpful in second stay but overall its a good hotel and everything went perfect.

Beds are a bit too hard. Only one pillow when I need two because of my neck. The restaurant at the adjoining hotel was fine but with a limited menu that was in the expensive side.

Location in an "industrial zone" was a minor disadvantage
Availability when nationwide airport strike cancelled our flight and required us to book a night in Naples Great restaurant (in adjoining hotel) with very good fare and service

Beds were hard, not very comfortable. Location was in an industrial area, not much going on. There was a free shuttle bus in the evening that took us downtown and back, which we used to go for dinner and wander.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of both hot and cold foods. Room and facilities were clean. There's an elevator. Shuttle bus to downtown was prompt and easy to use.

The location is a little bit off and not in the best neighborhood however, it is pretty close to the metro station. Maybe a 6-8 min walk

Actually, the room size was a bit smaller than I expected. The elevator was soooo slow :)
Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good too. The hotel was around 10 minutes walk distance to a metro station. 30-35 minutes walk distance to central station. Rooms had AC.

Not the hotel fault but, was being charged any where from 15 to 25 euro for same taxi journey back to the station to catch metro link. When asked about the hotel shuttle advertised, turns out its only evening and if a group pre booked.
A little odd not being self service for the breakfast, staff were very nice and did a good job for the hotel, keeping portion size down.
